Apple Cider Vinegar Fasting DrinkTastes Amazing!



In this video I'm going to teach you a super

way. In this video, we are talking about the apple
cider vinegar drink for fasting. One of the things that you may know at this
point is I really love fasting. It is something that I've used for over five
years of my own life and the thing is, is that it is something that is very important
for youthfulness, longevity and also its something that's really coded into our DNA, to go through
periods of fast in order to really experience good health.

Now, one of the things that I use while fasting
is this apple cider vinegar elixir. So, what I am going to do is go through how
you can make this and also talk about some of the science behind the ingredients that
I am going to put it. So, first thing that we're going to start
off with is a blender bottle. The ingredients don't like to mix well if
you're just mixing it with a spoon, so I just put it all into a blender bottle so it's easy
to shake.

Now, the first ingredient we're going to start
with is apple cider vinegar. Now, apple cider vinegar, specifically I like
to use an organic, raw apple cider vinegar that contains the mother. What that means is it just has some of the
particles in it from the fermentation process. Now, apple cider vinegar has tons of health
benefits.

It's high in acidic acid, which helps balance
your PH. It helps with weight loss, it helps with balancing
your blood pressure, it helps with balancing your blood sugar. It has so many great benefits. That's why we really like to start this drink
off with the main ingredient being apple cider vinegar.

So, what we do is put two tablespoons of apple
cider vinegar into the shaker bottle. Now, the other thing I want to mention about
this and one of the things that makes apple cider vinegar very incredible for a fasting
drink is because while in the fasted state you're probably going to get a little hungry. Apple cider vinegar helps increase satiety
and also really stops some of those hunger pains that you might be feeling, so definitely
that is a huge benefit well in the fasted state. Now, the next ingredient we are going to use
is the Himalayan sea salt.

Now we use Himalayan pink salt and reason
for that is because, while fasting you tend to use a lot of mineral content. So, in order to actually replenish your mineral
stores we put just a small amount of pink Himalayan sea salt in. I'm talking about just a dash here. We don't want a salty drink here so we just
put a small amount in and we leave it at that.

Now, the next big ingredient that we put in
is half a teaspoon of cinnamon. I'll go ahead and go over that. Now, for one the cinnamon helps it taste great. Now, the other and more important reason that
we use cinnamon is simply because the cinnamon is a very powerful antioxidant, and it really
helps balance your blood sugar.

Now, when some people are getting into intermittent
fasting and they're new to intermittent fasting, one of the things that they may experience
is pretty heavy blood sugar crashes. By using apple cider vinegar and cinnamon
together, you're going to really balance your blood sugar out so you don't experience those
heavy crashes and the other that this is drink is great is because when you go to eat and
consume your first meal, its going to help keep your blood sugar level versus spiking
it. That is one of the major reason that we use
cinnamon in here as well. Now, the next ingredient on our list is lemon
juice.

Lemon juice has tons of benefits. It's high in Vitamin C, it's a powerful antioxidant,
it also is going to help flush and cleanse our liver and kidneys. It also is going to help balance our blood
sugar. As far as this drink goes, we are going to
use one teaspoon of lemon juice.

I'll go ahead and put that in. Now, the next thing on our ingredient list
here is going to be sweet drops. Some people like this apple cider vinegar
drink as it is. Other people like it to have a little bit
of sweetness to it.

So, one of the things that we will add, if
you want to add some sweetness is some liquid Stevia or a Stevia packet. This is by Sweet Leaf, this is the one I am
using here. Typically, I like to just add four drips. The other thing that is really cool about
this Sweet Leaf Stevia drop is that they actually come in different flavors.

Specifically, this one is vanilla cream. You can order other flavors as well. Here's the deal. Once you go and you put this all together,
you're going to put about twelve ounces of water in the cup and then, from there you
can shake it all up.

Now, one of the tricks when it comes to the
apple cider vinegar drinks to help them taste better, more refreshing is to put them in
a nice cup of ice, so that the beverage is chilled and you are going to find that it's
just so much more refreshing. I always like to put it over a big cup of
ice. By the way, you can just put the ice right
into the mixer cup here. Now, last if not least.

One of the other things I want to mention
is that some people are very worried about drinking apple cider vinegar drinks because
of the enamel on their teeth. If this is the case, put a straw in it. This drink right here is really excellent. If you are someone who is fasting and you

10 Ways to Drink More Water



Hi everyone! Welcome back to Lavendaire. So if you know me, then you know that water is my favorite drink. I love drinking water all day, but I realize
that not everybody loves water as much as I do. Some people struggle with drinking enough
water, so today I wanted to share ten tips to drink more water.

Our goal today and in life is to always stay

much water you should drink because it depends on your weight, your height,

Once you know how much water you should drink, now it's time to check out the ten tips on
how to drink more water. Alright, first things first: drink a cup of
water right when you wake up because you want to replenish and rehydrate
after a long night's sleep. You can do this right after you wake up or after you brush
your teeth. It's up to you.

But I love just to rehydrate in the morning
and get that out of the way. Tip #2: Get a pretty water bottle that you
love so that you'll want to take it everywhere. It does matter than you like the bottle because
then you'll want to take it with you when you're running errands or to the gym. It's kind of like an added accessory.

Tip #3: Always keep water by your side so
you can sip water throughout the day. This is my method for drinking water. I always have it with me, and any time I think
about water, I just drink it. And you can get through a lot of water drinking
this way.

Tip #4: Drink a glass of water after every
bathroom break. Think about it as: you just expelled a lot of water, so it's
time to replenish all of that water and hydrate yourself. Tip #5: Drink a cup of water before every
meal. This helps you just drink water at regular intervals throughout the day.

And sometimes when you feel hungry, you're actually just dehydrated. So drinking water can actually help you curb your appetite if you have cravings. Tip #6: Track your water intake throughout
the day with a water tracking app, or in your planner. It's up to you whether you want to do it digitally
or analog.

It's just important to keep track of how much
water you're drinking so you know exactly how much you're getting every day. Tip #7: If you really want a reminder, you
can set a water alarm every hour to remind yourself to drink water. So this is for people who like notifications
on their phone. Tip #8: Eat more water-rich foods like fruits
and veggies.

So for example: I love making green smoothies in the morning. It's just a great way to get a lot of water
in. Tip #9: Use the hair tie trick. Wear a hair time on your left wrist for each
bottle goal.

Mine is two and a half water bottles. So every time you finish a bottle, switch
a hair tie to the other wrist so you know you're all
done when all your hair ties are on your right wrist. Tip #10: Habit stack. Pick something you do pretty often throughout
the day and drink water every time you do it.

For example, every time you check your phone, drink water. Or if you listen to music throughout the day,

10 Life Hacks to Drink More Water



What soup, everybody! It's Krist, and by the end of this video, I want
you guys to be thirsty for water. Here are my top ten tips that I
actually use or used in the past to train myself to drinking more h2o. Without further ado, let's go! First things first, you gotta set a goal. Figure out how much water you should be drinking per day.

I'll leave a link to a hydration calculator down below. You just enter some of your statistics sta-tis-tics. All these things will factor into how
much water you should be drinking, your weight, your height, how much you
exercise daily, the intensity of your exercise, even the weather conditions, the color of
your urine, it all depends, but it'll give you a rough estimate of how much
water you should be drinking. So if you have no clue, go click on the link, figure it out, and then come back.

Alright, number two! Now that you know how much water you should be drinking, time to track it. In the beginning, when I was a water-drinking noob, I used to track my water intake with an app. I love the water tracker on the app Lifesum, because it makes those cute little water splashing noises. It makes me feel like I did such a good
job when I drink a glass of water.

It's so satisfying. And now it comes so automatically for me that I
just track it in my head every day, without taking much effort. But this has been like a year in
the making. I'm like a pro now.

I think in the beginning, it does help to track it. Next step, use markers. This really helps you to become
aware of how much water you drink. What I did was I just got a marked water bottle, and it gives timeslots of when to drink the water by.

In the beginning, I would fill up my water
bottle, and then realize it's like 2:00 p.M. And I really drink up to like 8 a.M. It's kind of like a fun little game, like you have to drink this amount of
water by that time, or else! Tip number four. Alright, this next tip has changed the game for me.

This is my serious face. I am so serious. If you get anything out of this video, this hack has allowed me to seamlessly drink
more water without even realizing it. It makes drinking water like, ten
times easier, ten times faster, and I recommend it to everybody! Straws! Straws.

Drink through straws. I usually drink out of glass straws. This is my typical water drinking setup. I have a 16-ounce Mason jar.

Mmm! And I drink so much more water this way rather than trying to chug it through the mouth, you can't really intake that much water that way. And I like glass straws because they're more
eco-friendly and they also just feel nice. I found this at my local grocery store, but I will leave a link to where you get them on
Amazon in the description below. I also just try to drink everything with the straw now, even my coffee because it helps to prevent it from staining my teeth.

It also prevents acidity from hitting your teeth. Number five, invest in a cute water bottle. Gurrlllll, this was an investment, okay? Like a $50 investment. It might sound ridiculous, but it kind of goes in the same realm of buying cute
workout clothes to motivate yourself to work out.

Well, it feels like you're drinking the
cute packaging, you know? And it will definitely motivate you to carry it
around with you, to drink out of it. I recently got this beautiful Hydro Flask with of course the straw lid. It's just like a pop of fun color, it makes me more excited to drink water. It makes me feel like I'm somehow drinking neon
pink water when I'm not.

Believe it or not, it makes a huge difference. And this one's also highly functional because it keeps my water cold and hot for a really long time. Mmm! Number six. Sip on a glass of water before your meals.

I've been taught this ever since I was little to drink
water before my meal, not afterwards. It helps you to feel fuller before you
eat, so you don't overeat. And also this kind of challenges you once again to
spread out your water intake throughout the day. So I usually like to drink a glass of
water before breakfast, a glass of water before lunch and dinner.

And it's a good way of kind of scheduling my
water intake in my head, so I'm continuously drinking water. Number seven, if you really just don't like water, if you need some kind of stimulation, try making the switch from soda to sparkling water. I'm personally not a fan of carbonated drinks, but if you are, sparkling water is a great place to start. Maybe you go from soda, to flavored sparkling water, to just plain sparkling water and then to water.

Take it slow and easy. Number eight. This is something that I think a lot of people neglect. Eat water rich foods.

Drinking plain water isn't the only way to get more water into your system. If you're eating a diet that's abundant in plant-based food, so a lot of fruits and vegetables, your body will naturally be taking in so much more water. I've been personally motivated to eat more water dense foods after reading Dr. Michael Greger's "How Not to Die".

but you're kind of lazy to...

Read. I know it's the new year, maybe a lot of you guys are
giving up already on your health goals, but educating yourself on what you're eating really
helps you to make wiser decisions, and it motivates you. So make sure you're not only drinking
your water, but eating your water. 'Cause you'd be surprised on how
much water plant foods have.

Even just the banana is about 75% water. Number nine, set a timer reminder. Guys, smart phones are useful. Set an alarm three to five times throughout the day, every thirty minutes if you have to.

It's really about keeping you alert so that you're continuously drinking
water throughout the day and you're not forgetting to. Tip number ten, jazz it up. Make your water experience a little
bit fancy if you have to. Every morning, I like to squeeze some lemon juice, add in some sliced up lemon into my water.

This is great for digestion. I also have fruit infused water. I don't really do this, but honestly, just
adding a few berries and some herbs, maybe mint, cucumber, citrus, this not only gives your water flavor,
but it does wonders for your skin, and your overall happiness. Alright guys, that is it for how you can

9 Ways To Drink From A Cycling Water Bottle



- [Narrator] Coming up
are nine magnificent ways to drink from a bidon. The side sip. The most common method
of drinking from a bidon is as follows. Use your favoured hand to
reach down and grab the bottle from the cage, for extra style
points don't even look at it.

Bring it up towards your
mouth, then tip the bottle upwards but sideways from your head. The side sip allows you
to drink whilst keeping your head level and your eyes on the road. The air bidon. The air bidon is a technique commonly used when you run out of water and
need to use somebody else's.

To avoid passing germs or
saliva, the nipple of the bidon should not make contact with your mouth. Instead, a firm squeeze of the
bidon shoots a jet of liquid straight from the nipple into your mouth. It's also seen as good
etiquette not to completely finish the contents before
you hand the bidon back. The backwards swig.

The backwards swig is for
riders who prefer to grab their bottle from the rear bottle cage. The reverse grasp on the
bottle forces a different hand position when squeezing
the bidon in order to drink, which some riders find more comfortable. The lob. The lob is for experts only
and not to be tried at home.

As you may break a light shed. Month to learn, years to perfect, each rider must be in perfect
harmony with the other. As with this method, there
is no margin for error. With spot on execution, this is really something special to behold.

The guzzler. The guzzler is a technique
reserved for when you're stationary, due
to how complex it is, which involves completely
unscrewing the top before taking a longer
swig to down the remainder of your drink in one go. Sticking the empty bidon
upside down on your head to show that you've won an
immature contest with your mate is optional. (Laughs) (beep) - That was.

(Laughs) - Absolutely (beep) soaked. - [Narrator] The fakey. (Light music) The fakey is a technique
used to crack riders behind by bluffing about the ease
with which you are riding. During the fakey you are
in fact not drinking from your bottle at all because
you're breathing too hard, but this technique will fool
riders behind you into thinking you're finding it easy on a big climb.

The douse. The douse is a method
reserved for sweltering heat in the mountains and is often accompanied by an entirely unzipped jersey. Remove the bidon from the cage, as normal, then squirt the contents around your face with a small percentage
reserved for your mouth. This has the double benefit of cooling whilst also hydrating, albeit minimum.

As a pro tip, ensure that
the contents of your bidon is plain water and not energy drink. The celebration. The celebration is only reserved for the biggest of occasions. By this we mean a stage
win in the Giro, Vuelta, or the Tour, or perhaps even a Monument.

Or, in this particular case, 37th place on a local Strava climb. Needs a willing teammate
or friend to assist. The cocktail flip. Finally we have the cocktail flip.

This, again, takes a lot of practice, but it's a great way of making
