100 Years Of Food Taste Test

Time to taste the past. Let's talk about that. ( theme music playing ) Good Mythical Morning. Mythical beasts,
today keep those eyes peeled, like the Oscar-nominated
director of "Get Out," because you're
not gonna wanna to miss even a nanosecond
of today's episode.

We'll be screaming and thrashing
while learning tantrum yoga.
Yes, that is a thing. And we'll be exploring some
of the weirded subscription
boxes in the world. But first, did you know
that your parents, and even
your parents' parents,
ate food? - Huh.
- It's true. But what did they eat
and when did they eat it? It's time for...

( singing to the tune
of "The Time Warp") Mythical waiter Chase
is going to be presenting
with dishes that, per various food blogs
and websites, like foodnetwork.Com
and Thrillist, were the most popular
American dishes - of those certain decades.
- Right. We're going to taste the dish,
and then we are going to guess what decade
it was the most popular by indicating that on the
on the Mythical shuffleboard. And, of course, in every round, whoever is closest
to the correct decade wins, and you can knock
the other man's plate around if you want,
if you're going second, so there's some strategy. Now, at the end of this,
the person who loses has to eat what we think
will be the most popular dish of the 2090s--
cockroaches.

- Mm-hm.
- Let's shuffle. Finally our meal. Hot plate. - Uh-huh.
- Hot plate.

Right off the bat
we got some-- Waiter touched me
on the shoulder. - Me, too.
- Nice touch. It appears that we have
some classic meatloaf and-- Bacon wrapped. ...Some "spinage." Oh, that's good.

I don't need to eat this
and know what it is, but I'm just a little hungry. Whenever it started
being popular, it stayed popular
with me ever since. - Okay.
- All right. Now, Rhett, we're going
to take our plates over here so as to shuffle them.

Okay, Rhett, you are taller,
so why don't you go first? Well, you also get the advantage
by going second, but it's okay. We'll change it up next time.
Now, meat like this-- it definitely feels like
this is either the '40s or any time after because before
that Second World War we didn't eat a lot of meat but then we,
that Second World War, this just feels
like a '40s thing. I'm-- I'm going with '40s. He's going with '40s.

( Exhales ) - Link: Oh, right on the '40s!
- ( Rhett laughs ) - Whoo! Nice!
- Now, the good news is you hit what you aim for.
The bad news is... - I'm wrong?
- ...This classic dish is classic because
it's been around since the turn
of the century, Rhett. I'm talkin' 19-hunnerds. Rhett: Ugh.

( Laughs ) Is that the 1900s back there uh, off of the board? What the crap? Man, my side's too lubed up. ( Chuckles )
Did you lube his side? - Stevie: No.
- Okay. All right, so what's
the answer, Stevie?
Dang it.

So that was liver loaf with
a side of buttered spinach. - Liver loaf?
- And it was popular
in the 1940s. Hey! - Are you serious?
- Hey, man. You gotta give me
extra points for getting it right
and nailing it! But you hate liver and you
didn't even know it was liver. I thought I'd be better
at this than darts, but, uh, there's still hope.

I'm going to calibrate. Not a lot of hope. What do we have here? I'm a little gun shy
to say it's a sloppy Joe. After the liver mistake
last time.

It's a not that sloppy
sloppy Joe. In fact, it's a sloppy Joe you can just pick up. Fries. Sloppy Joe.

Very good.
Let's take it over. Okay, so you can go second
this time-- I mean, I can go second
this time. Yeah. Okay, now, sloppy Joe-- ingredients that have
been around forever.

But in that
particular format, the sloppiness
is what I'm talking about. When did the sloppy start? That's the question. I'm torn between the '70s or even as recent
as the '80s. You know, that stuff started
plopping out of cans.

Yeah. Yep. And then it got
really popular. Make your choice.

Well, '70s is way back there, and I'm liable to overshoot, so I think the '80s
are speaking to me. Oh-- well, maybe it is '70s. You know what? I think it is '70s. This was popular in the '80s, but it just feels like it--
it was-- this is the most popular thing
of the '70s? I mean, of the decade? It's gotta be the '70s.
'80S was usurped with something else,
so I'm going '70s.

- Link: Oh! Dang it!
- '80S! I hope it's '80s. So we both did the opposite
of what we wanted. What is it, Stevie? So it is a sloppy Joe, but it was the most popular
dish in the '80s. - ( laughing )
- Dang it! - Dang it! Seriously?
- I just can't help but win. - Where are there darts?
- I mean, it's just--
it's just-- I want the darts,
so I can throw them
at this guy.

It's in my blood.
I'm sorry. I'm sorry, man. I was--
I really-- I was going
for the '70s. Yeah, I know.

Bon apptit. - Oh.
- What is this, man? I think they called this
chipped ham. Over toast with white gravy
and garden peas. Whenever it was popular, It didn't--
It didn't continue.

Now, I like garden peas. Garden peas
are my favorite green thing... To eat. My favorite green thing
not to eat is just trees.

Not bad. I don't know
what this is, but... Doesn't feel very modern. Must be old.

Okay, Rhett, you're up. Yep, okay, so the logic
on this one for me is that this is a time
of lean, you know, where you had to chip
the meat off. It was literally chipped ham. Ration it out.

That could be the '30s. Because the '30s
were such a tough time. But this could also be
the '10s or the 1900s. I feel like,
if I aim for 1900s and try to get
a little bit in there and maybe get close
to the '30s, I'll position myself well, so I 'm just kind of going
for the back of the board.

You're hedging. - Okay, all right.
- Hit the 1900s. I just can't tell
if this is meek or rations. If it is, then yeah,
this is, like, '30s.

You left your spoon on there, but it's too late
to take it off now. I'm going to se that spoon
to my advantage. A s a little extra weight. You know what I'm gonna do? You're going to try
to dislodge me? I'm going to try to knock
you off the board entirely and then land up in the '30s.

Well, knowing me, you'll just
push me into the right zone, so go for it. Knowing you. Link: Oh! - Oh.
- ( Rhett laughs ) - Well, we got peas everywhere.
- Sorry. - Sorry.
- And, if I'm not mistaken, my plate's in exactly
the same place.

What the hex?
I've been hexed. That's what. Okay, what's
the correct answer? I don't even wanna know. Okay, so this is
creamed, chip beef-- chipped beef-- - Chipped beef.
- Chipped beef.

And it was...
( Laughing ) the most popular dish
from the 1930s. - Ah, yes.
- I was right! But it doesn't matter! Not hungry anymore. You're not enjoying yourself? Oh, my goodness. Well, has your appetite
changed now
after you've seen this? - What in the world?
- Link: That' half
of a Jell-O bunt. Yeah, but it's, uh-- it's savory.

It smell-- yeah, it smells... - It's almost sour.
- ...Spicy. Ugh. It's like a salad
of some kind, and there's red pepper
in there.

Look at-- what? Oh, man, it's like
vinegar Jell-O. It didn't survive the decade. It's not horrible. Except that it is horrible.

Okay. Okay, so uh... I get to go second. How could this be the most
popular dish of-- - Any time.
- Any time on any taste bud? ( Sighs ) Oh, gosh,
I can't win at this point.

It's three to zero. Well, you know what? I could be the gentleman, and I could say,
each of these last two rounds is worth two points a piece. If you win both of them,
you come back and crush me, four to three. I will graciously accept.

Okay, all right. Okay, what decade did people
have stupid tastes? ( Laughing ) Ah, man. Rhett: Spicy Jell-O. I can't re--
I know we hit '80s, '30s, and then I think-- I can't even remember
the other thing you got right.

'40S or the 1900s?
I can't remember. I like it that way... They didn't have gelatin
in the 1900s. ...You not remembering.

I'm thinking
that this is the '40s, and I'm hoping that that hasn't
already been a correct answer. - Okay.
- I missed. I love that you are so bad
with numbers that you did not remember that we've hit the '30s
and the '40s already, and so that means that
we're really playing this
left side of the board. I don't know.

I'm going to-- Once again I'm going to aim for the 1900s. I'm going to try to land
between the 1910s
and the 1900s. - Link: He went off!
- ( Rhett groans ) So I think I win this round
no matter what, but what is-- Uh, it's all about who's closer
to the correct decade, but let's find out what it is. So, believe it or not,
the name of this dish is Perfection Salad, and it was popular at the turn of the century. Link: 1900s.

Rhett: Oh, okay.
You might be closer. That's pretty close, man. But you went off the board.
I mean-- I'm still on the board.
Look at the overhead shot. I'm still on the board.

I think you might be closer. We need a measuring tape
to determine this round. Link: Okay, Chase,
from the edge of the plate to the edge of the 1900s box. - Who's closer?
- All right.

( drum roll ) Rhett is closer
by half an inch. Whoo-hoo. Whoo! Yeah! I mean,
I'm sorry, man. You're-- you're--
next time-- "I'm sorry, man!"
( Mock laughing ) - Next time we'll give you
a couple of--
- ( cue stick clatters ) ...Couple of chances.

You know what? I'm drying my eyes. I'm turning over a new leaf. My self worth is not defined
by my ability to play
shuffleboard. That's true, Link.

And so I'm just-- I'm just in this
for the fun of it. Yeah, you look
like you're having-- - I like cockroaches.
- ...A great time. I'm going to eat one.
Now this-- You like fondue? That is what this is.
Isn't it? Oh, you were gonna-- I thought this was
clam chowder for a second, but then I saw that there
were apples and cheese. Mm, look at that.

- Mm.
- And I'm-- What is this,
like a martini? It is a martini. Not just like one. All right, cheesy fondue. Gonna be some danger
in shuffling this.

I gotta put this glass
in the cup? - Leave it.
- Okay. Now, there's an added element
of danger here because there is
a lit candle in here. - Rhett: Yeah, fire.
- This is a fire hazard. Also, this thing's
a little top heavy.

- Uh--
- Yeah, very heavy. Okay, so I go first this time, but, I mean,
you really can't win. I could say this last round's
worth six points, but that just seems like pity
at this point. That will be okay, though.

If-- what if I nail it, the correct answer
on the board, then I get six points, and you just have to eat
the cockroach with me? Well-- oh, so you're still
going to each the cockroaches? Yeah, I'll eat it. So I still win, but I'm eating
a conciliatory cockroach. - Yes.
- If you land
on the right decade. - Okay.
- Yes.

I'm going to pick the '70s
for this one because '70s feels
like the wild time when you were
willing to say that dipping other foods
into cheese was your favorite meal. - You know?
- A very trendy thing. The '80s are taken. Yeah, I mean, this isn't
a '90s thing.

Right? I mean, it could be the '90s, but feel confident
about the '70s, but I don't feel confident
about this lit bulb that is about to be
propelled down the board. - Link: Oh!
- Oh, I'm in! - You are but--
- I'm in the '70s. You are touching '70s. Now, do I agree with you
that it's the '70s? Let me tell you,
if I'm right, here's the thing--
here's the thing.

You can use my bowl
to stop your plate and land on the '70s, ensuring
that you're on the '70s. Like, you can't overshoot
the '70s because I got this thing
in the sand over there. Or you could go
balls to the wall and go '90s. You know what? In the '90s at the FLL dance, you know, where me
and Sarah-John went? We went...

- To The Melting Pot.
- ...To The Melting Pot - fondue place.
- Yes. And it w-- boy, it was
a popular time to do that. Yep. Mm-hm.

It's the '90s. Oh! Too much. - Rhett: Ah...
- Dang it. - Well, it's--
- All right,
what 's the right answer? Maybe fondue was popular
in the '30s.

We don't know. Okay, so cheese fondue
and a martini was most popular in the '70s. ( Link growls ) Sorry, man. All right, bring
those cockroaches over. I will gladly eat them 'cause I'm a man of the future! This is not a cockroach.

This is a cockroach planet. It's huge. You know, I'd love to-- I'd love to enjoy
one of those with you. But I just can't
because I won every round.

( Growls ) - You know what?
- Yeah. I'm leaving you in the past, and I'm gladly headed
to the future. ( Rhett laughs ) You could've just faked
that that went in
and started chewing, but I saw that it-- It got hung-- It got hung on the-- - Oh! It landed in--
- Hey. Drink it on down, son.

I like cockroaches
better than a martini. - Oh, my gosh.
- ( Mutters ) Ah, how does it feel
to be in the-- - ( gagging )
- ...In the 2090s? It's soft in the middle. Is that where
the gag came from, - when the softness came in?
- Yeah! - ( Gags )
- You know what, Link?
You know what? I can get you
some shuffleboard lessons You know what?
I could probably give you some
shuffleboard lessons. ( Gagging, spitting ) Any time you want
any pointers or any tips, I'm very happy to offer them.

You're such a kind friend and such a great person
to be around all of the time. Keep watching to see us

When ever someone says "robot restaurant, " I first think of an LED and laser show at a Tokyo venue where remote-controlled robots dance with bikini-clad girls in a physical show that accompanies meal.

But the reality of robot restaurants is generally far more pedestrian and low-class.

One of these is Eatsa, the San Francisco-based restaurant company that takes orders through iPads and dispenses meals through automated machines. Until now, Eatsa has been using this tech to provide up quinoa bowls to health-food fans in its own restaurants. But the company announced Friday that it's expanding its robotic system to the fast-casual restaurant chain Wow Bao next month.

Tap on your cubby to obtain your food

At Chicago-based Wow Bao, you can already order your steamed buns via its application or an on-site kiosk. But with Eatsa's tech, you'll also manage to accumulate your meal from an LED-lit cubbyhole displaying your name. Text showing up on the front of the cubby, one among a larger array, will tell you whenever your order is cooking and when you can double-tap on the box to acquire your meal.

It's a quick turnaround for Eatsa, which only a couple weeks back announced the closing of five of its seven restaurants across the country. The company has now changed its focus to offering automated tech as a platform to other restaurants such as Wow Bao.

A mixture of man-made intelligence, personal screens, robotics and -- perhaps most crucially -- the willingness of hungry customers to skip human interaction is coming at the right time to make Eatsa's shift possible. It's part of the slow creep of technology which transforming our encounters of dining out, and even dining in, thanks to advances in delivery tech.

The first Eatsa-equipped Wow Bao will open in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago on Dec. one particular. Using the technology, Wow Bao plans to double its sites in 2018. It currently has several company-owned locations, plus airport, school campus, hotel and stadium franchises.

"When I first heard about Eatsa opening in San Francisco, I jumped on a plane to come see it, " Wow Bao President Geoff Alexander said in a statement. Alexander praised the technology as both entertaining and effective. "I knew immediately that Eatsa would be the perfect technology to incorporate into our future locations. "

Do robots belong in the kitchen?
At Eatsa and soon at Wow Bao, the automatic technology is front and center in the restaurant, serving customers and providing them with an experience to go along with their takeout. In other restaurants, robots are still strictly consigned to your kitchen.

At Coffeehouse X and Zume, both based in San Francisco, robots make lattes and pizza, respectively. California startup Miso Robotics has built a kitchen assistant robot called Flippy, which from early on 2018 is expected to be grilling burgers in CaliBurger restaurants.

15 TOP TAIPEI STREET FOODSTAIWAN FOOD GUIDE

Hey there everyone today i'm going to
share with you some top eats for Taipei. As an international food capital Taipei
is a dynamic city of modernity, Street food and fusion foods. Virtually any diet will
be able to find a Taiwanese dish to tempt your taste buds. Now what better way to see the city then
through the food so today i am going to take a food tour or I'm going to see the city sights and its
food through Taipei Eats.

What's the flavor of Taiwan?
Are there many flavors or popular flavors.. So we get this question a
lot ...Like it's really difficult to have like a main dish in Taiwan, because we have
so many different variation of foods and when you get a lot of that a little bit of sweet profile in our
savoury foods. And we also like to mash in a mixture of flavours, which the
contrast boosts the other flavours. Like my grandma would use like pear or
Apple and they would put salt on it.

So the saltiness boosts the sweetness of the Apple and the pear. Oh. So that's how you get sweet things to taste sweeter. One of my favorite Street snacks is called scallion bread.

The Taiwanese however know it is the
thousand layer bread due to its many layers You'll often find the Taiwanese are queued up
for it . Lightly salted. ...Scallions in it. Crunchy but spongey.

Glutinous rice... With the inside having sesame powder and peanut powder on the outside.. It's one of our most favorite desserts so
you're find stands like this, everywhere around the city. Next up is stinky
tofu and it's a favorite of Taiwanese.

Why do they call it stinky tofu? Well... It's exactly... What you smell is what you
get in your mouth. Yeah.

That's it very distinct taste. I wanted to say that it smells like stinky socks. I'm gonna go in for a second bite. And see if I can't get used to it.

That second bite was better. I think
it's like one of those things where you keep trying it.. You start to like it. So people in Taiwan, a lot of people complain that is not as stinky and had a strong flavour as before Like myself.

I would like it to have a stronger flavour. A lot of them use the...Brine. So they ferment it for a really short time. That's right right So they ferment it for a really short time, so it doesn't have that strong flavor that you used to have like 10
years ago! We like it stinkier.

They want it stinkier! Than that The smell is pleasant for us. So we wouldn't say it's stinky. I need a breath mint, I'm
still I'm... Really smelling that stinky tofu.

Guan Bao or the Taiwanese sandwich is typically
made of a bao bun with braised pork and And we also get the cilantro, peanut powder combination, which is really Taiwanese. They made my life with vegetables There's this very sweet flavor to it. And it's complimented with the peanut powder and
combined with cilantro , ... Omigosh.

It's like a knock out. I'm going to try this sauce. Give it a little punch! That clump of chili will either do me good or do me wrong.... But it's really good.

Actually, I think I'll put more sauce. So these are cold noodles with some sesame dressing and some bits of garlic And this is a popular
Taiwanese hangover dish. The noodles have been cooked in very hot water and
then immediately cooled off so. That they separate and produce a spongey feel This cheesy blinkin sign is to let
people know that the store sells betel nut, a mild intoxicant similar to having a can
of beer.

It gives you a bit of a buzz it doesn't
have any tobacco it in. But you bite it... At the top spit it in the cup. You chew it for a while.

It doesn't taste...It doesn't taste very good. Bitter... Bitter. It tastes like a bitter plant.

Taxi drivers and bus drivers, who are really into this. And you'll find it in like India or Burma... You see these red stains everywhere. Eventually, if you eat enough if it It can stain your teeth.

And give you oral cancer. It's supposed to give you this.. Feeling that's equivalent to a can of beer. Yeah I think I'm starting to feel a
little heady.

A little light-headed. It's... ... A little short of breath.

Very relaxied. I'm starting to feel relaxed. I've always been kind of curious but afraid of trying it. On a food tour though...

You know you're at least under guided wing, trying this! Here I am at Bei Min Fong Lin Bin. I really had to go slowly there. Bin is ice and this place is known for their sorbet. They make their sorbet daily, fresh.

It's made through water and sugar and it's churned and churned and churned until
they get the texture and flavor just right and if they don't
have the texture right or the flavor right and they toss it out and they
start all over again. She's just packing it in. Packing it. So i ordered the salted plum sorbet with the pineapple.

One of the popular flavors here are like taro, mung bean, dragon eye, pineapple... These are all the flavors that
you do not suspect sorbet to come in. A perfect ending to my day is found in a teaspoon. What do you feel is distinct about Taiwanese food that's different from anywhere else in the world? Probably that we don't have a big dish, like a national dish.

We have a lot of small dishes. A lot of street snacks. Do you feel like there's any kind of distinct thing...
- Probably just the variety of food.

Variety of foods. Okay. And Jean was right, variety it is! Taipei has
several night markets which showcase endless varieties of food and street
snacks.
So I'm at Raohe Night Market .

It's New Year's Eve These streets are packed. You see like the tables and chairs set up in the
middle of the street It''s a huge food night market . The foods that you'll find here, are kinda what's in vogue in Taipei. Each hawker has their own type of style..

Their own sauces as well as, flavors. Sometimes they prepare it just a little differently. There's a general rule of thumb when
you eat. When you're in Taiwan, when you see a crowd,..

It means that the food there is really good. Taiwan is the home of bubble tea, a drink
loved by Taiwanese and travelers alike. This milky tea was originally designed
with tapioca balls so that you could chew your drink. It's Xiao Long Bao in China.

And it's Tang Bao. She's calling it Tang, which is soup Bao, which is .. You know.. A bao, dumping! So there's soup inside here.
-Yeah, so a little bit of ginger and then this soup this other sauce in here and now I like the vinegar , soy sauce.

See inside
there's like that's all soup. Ok But it's hot. I always burn myself when
I eat it. I want to call these like tako balls.

They're like squid in like little balls. Deep fried. Holy cow. These are amazing! Wow you can taste the garlic! Ooh.

These are amazing ! Try it Sharon. This is like the snack of the Century for me. Taipei has a handful of night markets
for those who want to shop and eat on the streets at night. One of my favorite markets is Shilin
night market, a healthy dose of Taiwanese drinks, jellies, ...

Dessert snacks... And
Taiwanese delicacies. It tastes like regular egg.
- It's just tinier? The sauce is what makes the flavor.

For 30NT dollars I got these candied tomato plums. Tomatoes. I didn't know you could candy them. Wow these are really good! There's a hard candy coating on the outside of that crunches when you bite into it and I
can taste plum.

It's like a lee hing plum. I want to say. Tomato... Acidic...Very sweet, ...

And plummy taste. I wish we had these
at home. Wherever home is when I travel. It's like a deep-fried squid.

It's got garlic
and cilantro in it. It looks really soft when he was cutting into it. It was really kind of soft right? Do you feel like it's buttery? It's not overcooked that's for sure. He cooked it just right.

The cilantro really nails it in. And the garlic chunks, it's kind of raw
garlic... I love raw garlic. All that just seals the flavor in.

So this is Mien Shen? And it has... Oysters, this is fishcake, and then there's these noodle things, and then chinese parsley. And then they put vinegar in there. Mien is like noodle and Shien is string.

This is a favorite dish in Taiwan. So this is really gooey and almost hard to get the noodles on the spoon. I taste fish flakes. Bonito.

That's exactly what I tasted. And then you can add more garlic or you can add more vinegar if you want to. So it's an interesting flavor.
- It is an interesting flavor and this because of noodles are very gooey and with the broth it's kind of pastey. Yeah I know it's like thick.

Yeah it's not a soup, it's not a broth, it's like a thick... (Fish face) I like the Chinese parsley..Or the cilantro. That's exactly what I like that I taste. I feel like it can really fill you up.
- Yeah, that's probably why it's cheap and filling! That's it.
So I got some Chi Dan Gao.

Which is this mini bread cupcake . Kinda tastes like a little bit of an egg sweet bread. The prepares it like fresh. Hot.

He just makes it right there in front of your eyes. And heats it up. These can be pretty addictive too. Thanks for joining me.

When ever someone says "robot restaurant, " I first think of an LED and laser show at a Tokyo venue where remote-controlled robots dance with bikini-clad girls in a physical show that accompanies dinner.

But the reality of robot restaurants is generally far more pedestrian and low-class.

One example is Eatsa, the San Francisco-based restaurant company that takes orders through iPads and dispenses meals through automated machines. Until now, Eatsa has been using this tech to serve up quinoa bowls to health-food fans in the own restaurants. But the company announced Friday that it's expanding its robotic program to the fast-casual restaurant chain Wow Bao next month.

At Chicago-based Wow Bao, you can already order your steamed buns via its iphone app or an on-site kiosk. Good results . Eatsa's tech, you'll also manage to acquire your meal from an LED-lit cubbyhole exhibiting your name. Text appearing on the front of the cubby, one amongst a larger array, will tell you whenever your order is cooking so when you can double-tap on the box to acquire your food.

It's a quick transformation for Eatsa, which only a couple weeks in the past announced the closing of five of its eight restaurants across the country. The company has changed its focus to offering automated tech as a platform to other restaurants such as Wow Bao.

A combo of artificial intelligence, personal screens, robotics and -- perhaps most crucially -- the determination of hungry customers to skip human interaction is coming at the right time to make Eatsa's shift possible. 11 Everyday Foods That You're Eating Wrong!!

By the way

It's WENGIE. Welcome back and this is my favorite time of the week So today we are going to do num num hugs I have been eating so much of my food wrong. My life is flashing before my eyes So, today I wanted to show you twelve new ways to ways to eat your food So mind blowing Can't wait to share with you guys! (( Queue to the most adorable dance ever)) While watching the video, count how many ways you are eating your food wrong I was eating ten ways wrong, so let me know what your number is down below. But hold up, if you guys aren't part of the family yet here already I encourage you guys to join.

All you need to do is to click the subscribe button Right now, I'm doing a MASSIVE giveaway to celebrate three million of you amazing people and I'm giving away three Macbook Airs and it's so easy to enter. First, it's to be part of the fam because, you know, it is to say thank you to you guys and second thing to do is to be part of my #vlogsquad! Which means means to subscribe to my vlog channel where I get super intimate with you guys. Oh my gosh guys, if we can get this video to a 150,000 likes, that would be amazing. And I love seeing all your support down there.

Thank you guys so much I know we can do it. So without further ado, let's get straight to the video because these are so cool! Let's go! Uh-huh Yeah! I'm a super slow eater and that means my ice cream cone drips everywhere by the time I'm, like, n-not even finished. But, here's an awesome hack to prevent this from happening and it's super tasty as well. Simply grab a marshmallow and pop it in the cone snuggly before you put your scoop of ice cream on top.

I love creamy mango ice cream, it is so yummy. And finally you can add some berries on the sides of the cone. And even a wedge of a fancy kiwi fruit and it'll make it super pretty and as healthy as an ice cream can get . That way when it drips down the marshmallow, it acts like a plug.

So you won't have to worry about it dripping through and making the end of the cone soggy Because, seriously, that is the best bit. That is like my favorite. I-save it to the end and... Yeah.

Not happy when it's soggy. It's super tasty, and you won't even know it's there until you nom on it. YUM! I love it when things are both functional and tasty. Going down for real This is my fight song!
[This is how it ends~] This hack is a great way to both cool and flavor your drink, in a healthier way.

Simply pour flavored Cordial or Kool-Aid into ice cube trays and freeze them. I made my own healthy soda by adding some lemon, mint, and a few flavored ice cubes in a cup. Then pour in some sparkly water or plain soda and the ice cubes will melt, and you have a light flavor as well as a super pretty color! You can mix up flavors to make your own rainbow soda thats 'unicornially' refreshing Yes, th-that's a word, Right? Fruit salad on a stick- YASSSS! Instead of serving fruit with a toothpick It's even cuter on a skewer. Try picking fruits that are different colors.

For my own skewer, I used purple grape which is awesome to put at the ends to hold everything together. Then, put a chopped banana followed by a de-stemed strawberry orange raspberry and then finally a blueberry to hold everything in place. This is perfect when you are, like, skewering melons and things that slipper out and ones like grapes, blueberries, strawberries, and really any kind of berry, are just really really easy to skewer. Doesn't take much preparation and this is perfect if you're super lazy.

Serve these with some natural yogurt that you can dip it in and it taste so yummy. It's great for parties and when you have your friends over. And it's perfect for a summer snack or anytime really. Fruit is so good for you, you should have it every single day.

This is just a more fun way of eating it! Love Love Love! So I usually cut oranges, like, the normal way Into wedges. A great hack is to cut the top and bottom off your orange And then slice an opening down the side Then you can simply use the opening to peel open the orange! Keeping in tact that little pouch the juice bits sit in! So you can just grab it with your fingers and eat it like a mandarin This is such a neat way to pack oranges as well! If you're going on a picnic, going to school, or even to work! Keeping hydrated helps your lips look plumper and your skin look clear! So drinking more water is SO important and is not only for your health Make drinking water more fun by making some jumbo fruit ice cubes! A great hack for this is to use a silicon muffin tray. For ice cubes, I'm going to start off by slicing up some lemons. Then rip off some fresh mint and put it aside.

Put one slice of lemon with a few mint leaves. And fill it up with water. And that's pretty much it for the refreshing one. Next, I'm going to chop up some de-stemmed strawberries in half.

Place a few pieces with some blueberries And fill it up with water These ones are super colorful and will give your water a BERRY nice twist! C; ...Did ya get that? Get ya that? I'm so cool ^^' Once You're done adding ingredients, pop it in the freezer to freeze. When it's ready, the silicon tray makes it so easy to pop out your jumbo fruit ice. And then just put them in a pitcher and it will not only cool down the water.. It will release yummy, fruity scents and flavors into your water, as it melts! So perfect to enjoy while you're relaxing near your pool, with a book, or however you like! It's a super great twist on just plain water.

And makes it WAY more fun! YUM! Mangoes are SO good, but they're so messy! Here's an awesome hack for a mess-free mango-nomming session! Just cut the mango into halves around the seed And use the edge of a thin glass to carve out the yummy mango goodness All you wanna do is place the glass on a steady surface and push the edge of the mango down. Pushing the edge of the glass against the skin, so it will cut cleanly throughout the curve Make sure the glass has a very thin edge as well! This will make it easier to slice through. When you're done, it should pop straight into the glass! Look how cleanly cut it is, like, there is literally nothing left on the skin. Then you can simply slice it up! And have the fanciest looking mangoes ever! That won't mess up my white swimsuit! Super.

Fancy. Yeah..Haha "Fahn-cee"
c: So who peels bananas like this? (Me.) So this is right. NOT. Actually, It's wrong! The monkies are the monsters of peeling bananas.

Obviously. And apparently, they do it upside-down! So just spin it around and you just give it a squeeze and it should pop right out. This way, you don't end up with broken stems and broken banana-eating dreams.. And it also gives you a nifty handle to hold while you're eating it Super Cool! You know when you eat a watermelon and you get it on your face? Yeah.

That's always ME. Also, I don't realize I have watermelon on my face. Yeah..That's also me! So if you use this hack and prepare your watermelon; this should NOT happen ever again! I'm all up for getting my dignity back! So once you have your slice of watermelon, just simply cut off the edges in a triangle... And that's pretty much it! Your watermelon will look like a diamond as well! So it's super pretty and you can eat it elegantly! Now to find a diamond the size of a watermelon..So I can sell it to buy MORE watermelons! Just Kidding..

Diamonds are so pretty! I want to keep it! So I normally use a spoon to eat kiwi fruit, 'cause that's easy! But when you wanna add a sliced kiwi to something, well, how do you go without leaving that fuzz behind? Well..It's still with a spoon! Cut the top and bottom off your kiwi fruit. Grab a spoon and then just dig it in and spin it around. Sticking as close to the edge of the skin as possible. And then it will just simply slide out! Like seriously.

Watch this! It works REALLY well on riper kiwis. So pick ones that are just more soft And now you have a classy kiwi fruit. Instead of eating it with a spoon Eating kiwi fruit like this made me feel sooo fancy! I'm always up for a fresh and healthy salad, and a super easy way to bring a salad snack with you is in a jar! For my salad jar, I started off with cherry tomatoes. Scooped in some avocado goodness.

Then put in some grated carrots and finished it off with some chopped up purple cabbage. Which, by the way, is soooo good for you! These veggies are not only great because they are less likely to get soggy in a jar.. The more colors you have on your plate, the wider the variety of nutrients you are getting! This, of course, only applies to natural foods. And put a little bit of balsamic vinegar dressing on top, so you don't have to deal with it leaking in your bag.

Or finding a separate container for your dressing. And when you're ready to eat, simply open the lid and you are ready to nom! ^O^ And you don't even have to eat it all! 'Cause you can just close the lid and eat it later as well. So it's so practical and SO cute! So, If I asked my past self if I would ever de-stem strawberries. I'd be like, "Hell no! That's way too much effort!" Ever since I saw this hack, I was like, "Woah! Wait a minute! I've got to do this." So just grab a straw and poke it through the bottom.

And Voila!! De-stemmed strawberry!! Seriously. This is, like, so sweet. You can totally make strawberry pops with this as well. By keeping the straw in.

That will be so cute. Sometimes when you're having a hard time pushing the straw through, You can actually give it a little bit of a twist and then it will go straight through! And it's best if you use a thin plastic straw, as well. I found that that worked the best. Also, the tube of the straw will start to fill up with strawberry insides and they look so funny when you pull them out And now Ialso found a use for my straws after I've finished my drink.

And if you guys DO use any of these, don't forget to share them with me! On #wengiecorns And lets TOTALLY hang during the week on my social media; Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, or my vlog! You know I'll miss you guys! Until next time, I'll see you soon! Bye! ^U^
*muah* LOVE YOU! :).
