TRYING INSTAFAMOUS FOODS

What's my second favorite thing after coffee - food POP What's up guys so today, I'm in San Francisco wait where the fuck are my sunglasses what the hell? Oo WAH AH AH AH. Okay this lady starring at me I had this bright idea That was slightly inspired by BuzzFeed because I feel like this is something that they would do this lady needs to get her eyes off Off me, I literally can't film anymore [Navigator: turn left on Sonora Stream.] I'm already here. She's totally staring at me Just because you're wearing sunglasses doesn't mean I can't see your eyes, okay So I'm in San Francisco today because I had this bright idea and she's back staring at me, okay Do you know why I'm annoyed now. This is my privacy I'm just gonna have like I'm on the phone because that makes things less awkward You know cuz then it looks like I'm like doing something.

Oh, maybe she can hear me I think she can hear me so I have the bright idea to come to San Francisco today and try three Instagram famous Foods I've never tried any of them And I always see people posting at these specific three locations getting specific items off the menu And I was like you know I thought it would be kind of fun to just go around and enjoy three Instagram Bay foods you know what I'm saying it would just be fun It would give me something to post on Instagram too, and yes, that's what we're doing today so this is definitely something I feel like BuzzFeed would do I'm not sure if they've done it something exactly like it before I'm channeling my Inner food critic today, and we're gonna. Have a good-ass time First location we're going to today is called home cafe in the Sunset District of San Francisco They're famous food item is like the birthday cake law I'll insert a photo basically Everybody gets these and post them on Instagram because they're so cute or whatever and I've lived in this area for like my entire life But I've never been here before as you guys know I am a coffee connoisseur I love coffee, but I only like iced almond mocha lattes That's the only drink that I get so this will be a little bit interesting a birthday cake latte I don't know how I'm gonna feel about it. It could really go either way I could either love it or hate it because like I like iced drinks, and this is a hot drink So that's like the first error. I also don't really like sweet coffee drinks, so if it's too overpowering I'm probably gonna hate it, but we'll see I'm really pumped because it looks super good like it looks so cute So I'm walking to it right now, and it's in a super chill location like no one is around here at all It's like a ghost town a little bit, which is always creepy, but I don't judge when you're in the city And it's like super crowded I always get really anxious so five stars for the location because it's in a super chill location and that's a plus thumbs up Okay, well haven't even tried the coffee yet though, so that's kind of the important part.

Okay update I'm getting a little bit closer to the actual cafe. I don't really like this area I don't know yeah, that's okay because it's all about the coffee itself, but yeah I take back what I said earlier about it being cute. It is definitely chill, but like I feel like sketchy I don't know something about this area bill you have to get like So let's give a full comprehensive review as Casey nice that would say first, let's discuss Instagram ability because that's the whole point of this freakin video definitely artsy as hell I took this picture And it's definitely artsy definitely goals the latte art is the whole point of it basically I mean like the flavor is good for sure it actually tastes really good I got it with almond milk instead of regular milk And it tasted really good tasted more like a hazelnut vanilla latte rather than like birthday cake cake batter If that makes sense this doesn't actually taste like cake it wasn't too, sweet, which was really good It was like a pleasant amount of sweetness It wasn't too hot when she gave it to me so like I could drink it Immediately which is a thumbs-up also to make it even better the inside is actually really nice too like actual like Decor and stuff people and they were nice, but I did have trouble finding a seat in the beginning And then I had to like share a table with some lady that I didn't know and she didn't really seem too excited to share A table with me, but I was like we got to do something here a lot of people in their computers You know working hard, but there's this little sign that says like this table like you can't use laptops at this table Which I thought was kind of funny like because they want you to enjoy each other's company Which I think is kind of cute. I guess kind of a cute gesture You know I would rate it a nine out of ten The only reason why I would dock a point is just because this area although.

It's chill and stuff It's just kind of a boring area. There's not much really going on around here, so it's like if you went to this cafe It's not you could like go somewhere else after and like have a lid as time. You know Next location we're going to is called the mill it's on Divisadero Street I believe the mill is basically like a coffee place it has famous avocado toast And you might be like everywhere it sells avocado toast, and you'd be right But what makes their avocado toast different is that they make their own bread so like it's homemade bread that they make in that literal Like cafe like they make the bread in the cafe, and it's also just a super dope like location like really cool it's actually been there before for coffee, but I've never been there before for this avocado toast because Unpopular opinion here, I'm not a huge avocado person Mostly because I'm a picky eater and like I just don't really like I don't know like avocado kind of freaks me out a little Bit feel me but despite my kind of like fear of avocados and they get the avocado just today I have a feeling I'm gonna like it I mean everyone likes avocado toast everybody and their mom and I've like never tried it before so That's where we're going next. This is definitely cute area for sure for sure way cuter than the last area I'd say oh my god Sorry really windy very windy extremely windy this place is really cute aesthetic so I hate that word, but it's true It's really cute.

There's like this outdoor sitting area you Time to review okay overall I was pretty impressed with this experience It was quite pricey though like that avocado toast was eight dollars the look of the place Very artsy very dope I liked it a lot. They had nice wood tables They had a few marble tables Which were taken so I couldn't use those which is depressing because marble tables look really good and Instagram photos for food and stuff But anyways either way now let's talk about the flavors coffee not the best I've had to be completely honest. It was good Don't get me wrong. It was good, but it wasn't the best I've had.

It was kind of bitter a little bit Maybe kind of sour supposedly they have homemade almond milk, which is really cool I couldn't really tell, but like that's cool now the toast was my first time ever having avocado toast It was definitely good only issue with this one specifically was that there was like some avocado like strings in it Do you know I'm talking about like avocado like fibers Oh, I don't know But that just like really grosses me out like you know when there's like little strings knock On the avocado something got strings in my food and like fibers and my food really fucking grosses me out didn't taste gross But it's just like there's a little bit of that avocado is kind of brown like it wasn't super green which is okay? But not as like aesthetically pleasing is that make sense I don't judge You know cuz the flavor was actually really good the actual bread part was Unreal because it's homemade right ain't like my teeth just sunk into that like there's no tomorrow. It was unbelievable It was so freakin good. I was ecstatic I'm not even a huge avocado fan And I still liked it so like if you liked avocado like you would definitely die for that Yeah, I would read the entire experience in eight out of ten the avocado was kind of brown But it was still really artsy and I took this picture and it looks pretty freakin good Actually, I'd say an 8.5 Out of 10 thumbs up for the mil good place cool vibes. Good vibes dope vibes We're going to buy right ice cream which is like the most famous ice cream place in San Francisco people freaking love it there It's like just a fuckin family fave a lot of people like it and it's really close to the last place I was at coincidentally they're famous for like they're kind of like cool Ice cream flavors like cheesecake, and I don't even know but regular ice cream gives me tummy troubles I'm not lactose intolerant, but like milk just does not agree with me at all You know it's just not meant for my body, so I'm gonna get the vegan ice cream from there I think they have one flavor It's like chocolate coconut ice cream made with coconut milk instead of regular milk a lot of people take pictures there It's like a huge fan favorite.

You know what I mean everyone goes there. I feel like I. Have to go back to the car to try this one because they don't have any seeds in there so that's something to consider I. Have the ice cream and I already tried a little bit of it, and it's really good about me eat more It tastes really good.

Maybe a little bit less creamier than regular ice cream It's still pretty creamy super rich chocolate flavor definitely a fan then another vegan flavor, too I think was a sorbet, but I'm more of a chocolate person than like sorbet You know I strap some of it on my white pants That's a mess sometimes chocolate ice cream can just taste like water. This is good stuff even though I've always been a vanilla kind of girl But this is looking good as hell and taste and everything I give it a 10 out of 10 But here's where the issue is it's cute in there Don't get me wrong, but it's not really like instagram-worthy like this just looks like basic chocolate ice cream You know what I mean So I give this overall a 6 out of 10 because this whole point of today is trying Instagram foods You know places that are super insta-goals right the food itself is not that instagram-worthy especially compared to the other two things that we've Experienced today at the end of the day if you want a good scoop of ice cream I'd say this is a good place also It's like connected to a grocery store that like takes away from like the potential cuteness does that make sense and the guy in there? Was really nice which always helps Do my tums like Brown honestly I'd say all those places were good even though the last one wasn't really Instagram goals I didn't even take a picture of my ice cream I just started eating it because I just got no inspo You know I wasn't inspired by the location all of the places were really good, and if you're in San Francisco I'd say for sure check it out. I literally drank so many coffees today. I.

Okay, wait I only have two actually no I had three I had two on screen But then I had one off screen when no one was looking I need to like go home and calm down after that free coffees In the span of like two hours is definitely a lot for me and trying to cut down on the caffeine You know try not to drink as much coffee or at least get decaf, but I've been failing miserably But this is not relating to the video anyway. That's it for today's video I hope you enjoyed if you had fun You like this smash the thumbs up button give it a thumbs up subscribe to my channel comment down below anything you want Love you all appreciate you all and I'll see you next time.

TRY NOT TO EAT CHALLENGE!Teens & College Kids Vs. Food

- Ugh!
- This one's so good. - God! - This can probably be
classified as torture. -  (French accordion music)  - (FBE) So, before you came
in today, we asked you to arrive with an empty stomach.
- Well, I'm ready to eat, that's for sure. - Yeah.
- I'm suspicious, 'cause you guys like to mess with us a lot.
- Exactly.

- (FBE) So the reason being
we've teamed up with Crunchyroll to have you watch the anime
Food Wars, where a teenage boy dreams
of becoming a chef and battles to survive at
an elite culinary school while mastering his skills.
We want you to watch some show clips full
of delicious foods while hungry and
tell us what you think. - I've watched Food Wars before.
Let me tell you, okay, if you can't tell by my shirt,
I love anime. - I like anime.
I've seen Food Wars. - Anime food makes me so hungry
every time.

- You eat with your eyes first,
so, you know, my stomach is gonna get ready for the food.
- Yeah, my eyes are hungry as [bleep] right now. - (Japanese dialogue) - I like how it's like Dragonball Z
but with cooking. - I know, it's an anime.
Everything's so much more intense.
Oh, nice. Sticks the landing.

- Yeah, this would make
an appetite for real. - Honestly, food in anime
is the most amazing looking thing in the world and I can never
tell what any of it is supposed to be,
but I want all of it. - Ugh, they make the food
look so good. - It's so fluffy.
- Oh my God, look.

They're jiggling. - Oh my God, I love her. - Oh my.
- This is better than any Food Network thing.
- This is like Ratatouille on steroids. - (FBE) We got a chef
to recreate these delicious and one of a kind dishes
from the show.

This is extra special,
'cause you'll never be able to get these anywhere else.
- What? - Guys, I'm gonna cry. - Oh!
Look at that. - It looks like something you see
in a commercial, that's how good it looks. - (FBE) I do have some news
for you, this is a try not to eat challenge.
- No! - (FBE) Whoever can get
through this and eat the least amount of food wins.
- No, no, no.

This is gonna be so hard. - This is a challenge you
only could lose. - I know! - (FBE) So this is the
mouthwatering souffle omelette you just saw,
and it's indeed fluffy and magical. Will you be trying this?
- I hate you guys so much.

- I'm gonna eat it.
- I wanna taste it too. - Screw this challenge.
It's so unique. - It is so worth it to eat it. - You know what,
I'ma take this quick L here and try this out.
- Ding.

- Wow.
- The whole background just turned pink behind you
when you took a bite of that. - Do I have the heart eye
emojis? - That looks so good, though.
Okay, I'm good this round. - I want someone to look at me
the way she's looking at that omelette.
- (Laughs) - Yeah, I'm not gonna eat this.
I'm mad at you guys. - There's other Japanese foods
that I really wanna try, but since it's a challenge,
I'm gonna hold back.

- Look at it.
It's literally sparkling. - (Japanese dialogue) - My first thought was
"Nice try. I'm still not gonna eat healthy." - Sauteed zucchini herb--
Oh my God. - That sounds good.
- It's so refreshing.

- It looks good. - (Japanese dialogue) - 14 different flavors?
What? - That's intense.
That's intense. - I might have to try this. - I'm more curious about
how this tastes, though.

- That looked like something
that you get as an appetizer to a really fancy, fancy
restaurant. - (FBE) So now here is
the rainbow terrine. What gives this dish
the extra delicious taste is the allspice.
The show describes it as tasting like a mother's love
and I can attest from trying it that it really does touch
your heart, so wanna give it a try?
- This looks ridiculously similar to what was in the TV show. - I expected not wanting to eat it
'cause it was gonna be vegetables, but this looks so tasty.

- I'll try it if you try it.
- All right, all right, that's fair. - Ready?
- Cheers. - That's definitely like
mother's love. - It's delicious.
- Wow.

- It's a roller coaster. - Do you want to?
That's the question. - The thing is, I have
no self control. - Okay.
- So you can't make me.

Jordan. I don't like this part
of the game. - I'm good, I don't really
want this dish. - I feel like we're just
gonna step it up, so save it towards
the end, maybe.

- If this wasn't a challenge,
I would totally eat it, but because it is,
I can't lose this. - Whoa.
- Oh, it's a roll. I'm ready for this.
- Look it, they all have it. - I--
this looks so good.

Look at the eyes,
they're glimmering. - Oh my God, it's crunchy.
- Oh. - Oh, it's fried--
- We're getting chicken! Jordan, we're getting chicken!
- (Laughs) - (Japanese dialogue) - This show is amazing.
- No dude, food brings people together. - Ahhh!
Me, right now.

Ah no!
That one looked so good. - (FBE) Presenting the
karaage roll. I can attest that the chicken
is as flavorful, crispy, and juicy as the anime said.
So, you guys gonna try this one? - (Laughs) That looks really good.
- Man, that chicken looks good. - Ugh!
- So good.

- I'm gonna refrain.
I'm refraining. - I'm sure you are.
- Yeah. Oh my gosh.
- This is a really weird comparison--
oh, she's losing! Ha ha! - I'm just gonna lose.
I don't care anymore. You know, whatever.
- Okay, done.

That's bomb.
- That's fire. - That is good.
You know when you taste something so good, you get mad?
I'm mad. - This one's really hard,
but I think I'm gonna pass on this one.
- No, you know what? I'm gonna win. - I'm not gonna do it.
- You're not-- dang it, wait,
I don't wanna lose.

This is the worst challenge
I've ever done. - Ever! - Oh, it's a business.
- Business people, wait. - Sabotars.
What's the word? Saboteurs. - "I asked you for juicy meat."
(Laughs) - I love anime.
I love it.

Look at him.
- He putting his whole arm into that food.
- Look at that beautiful slow motion, look at that. - Oh, the salt bae.
- Salt bae. - Oh, nice.
- It's like the Naruto of food. - Can't say no.
- What is that!? - (Japanese dialogue) - Ugh.

- I'm starting to cry a little.
- (Laughs) - I'm just getting so hungry.
It's unreal right now. - How can I not eat this?
- Did he say potatoes and bacon? - (FBE) So the delicious dish
in front of you is called Gotcha pork roast
and has potatoes and bacon in it. So, are you gonna eat it?
This your only chance to ever try this dish.
- Oh, I gotchu pork roast. - Stop, this is our only--
Eric, a chef made this.

- How can we--
it would be-- - It would be rude. - Yep.
- Wait, let me smell it. Oh my God, it's bacon heaven. - It's worth it.
I'm gonna try.

You wanna try with me? It's so good.
I can't even keep in my seat. - Gotta keep it halal, guys.
Shoutout to my non pork eaters. Keep it kosher.
- But I want it. - Tom, go at it, bro.
- All right, I'm gonna eat it.

- I love potatoes.
I'm not gonna-- Nope, I'm good.
I'm past it. - You don't have to eat it.
We're good. - We're not gonna eat it.
- We're good. - We're not gonna eat it.

- I just wanna say,
I want my life wrapped in bacon. - Oh, the steam.
Oh, it's this-- Oh my God, I'm definitely
eating this. I remember this scene. - Ooh, is that a steak?
Like a beef? - That looks so good.

- Oh, we're going in.
- (Both laugh) - "I can't stop eating."
(Laughs) Same. - That's so relatable.
I just want it to be me right now. - They're not even chewing.
They're just swallowing. - The fact that I'm expecting
this to be in front of me soon makes this such
a different experience.

- I'm those two girls
in the corner. Me and Brooklin.
(Both squeal) - (FBE) So, this is the steak don.
I tried it and couldn't stop eating it, either.
It had to be pulled away from me.
So, will you be trying this one? - Oh yeah, hell yeah.
I'm eating this. That's so good.
Bruh. - I wanna win though.
- You know you want it.

- (Laughs)
Okay, yeah, [bleep] it. - All in your mouth.
- Ah, it's so warm. - Okay, wow.
- It's so good. I'm gonna do my food dance.

- I'm glad that I get to
watch it and eat it at the same time.
I don't care if I fail this challenge. - I refrain from this one.
This is all you. - Cool, I'm eating this
for lunch, then. - Enjoy.
- Thank you Jordan.

- This is pure torture.
- This is the best day of my life. I don't think it's too much of
an overstatement to say this is the best thing
I've ever had. - This can probably be
classified as torture. No, I'm not gonna do it.
I'm not gonna do it! - I can smell this, but
you know what I can smell more? I can smell victory.
- (Laughs) - (FBE) You guys both won.

- Yeah!
- Yeah, you know, I'm not even gonna applaud that.
That sucked. - (FBE) Some people have lost.
- All or nothing, baby. - Yeah. - It was worth it.
This is good food.

- I don't care.
- Whoo! We did it! - I've lost a lot of challenges
in my day. This is one challenge
I was happy to lose. - Exactly. - Thanks for watching our first

TRY NOT TO EAT CHALLENGE! #2Teens & College Kids Vs. Food

- Oh wow.
Oh, wow! - Mm.  (French accordion music)  - (FBE) Before you guys came in
today, we asked you both to arrive with an empty stomach.
- Yeah, I'm really hungry. - (FBE) So, reason being
we're gonna have you watch scenes from Disney movies
that feature delicious foods, then present you with the food
recreated by a chef. - Ooh.
- Who comes up with these ideas? That's crazy.

- I'm excited.
I'm a Disney fan. - Oh my God, this is like
that anime one that you guys did that looked
so good. Let me guess, the challenge
is not to eat the food? - (FBE) Bad news is,
this is another try not to eat challenge.
- Oh, Jesus Christ. - You guys screwed me over
with this one.

- (FBE) So, whoever can get
through this and try the least amount of food wins.
- I feel like I'm gonna do pretty well. - That's evil.
One, you told me specifically not to eat just for
this challenge. That's messed up. - (Man) Heavy on
the meatballs.

- (Chef) Tony, dogs don't talk.
- (Man) He's talking to me. - Oh my God.
- He's talking to me. - Ooh, spaghetti and meatballs
right now. - You're starving.

- (Man) Best spaghetti
in town. - Have you ever tried to
do that though with somebody? - With the spaghetti?
- Yeah. - I'll try it with you.
Ha, I'm kidding. - This is animated,
but I'm watching this and I'm getting hungry.
- That looks good.

-  Side by side
with your love  - Now kiss.
- (Both) Aw. - This is such a cute movie. - Why can't I get a guy
like that? - Who gives you their
last meatball? That's all I'm looking for.
- Exactly. - Okay, bring out the spaghetti
and meatballs.

- I'm already gonna lose. - (FBE) Here is the delicious
dish you just saw. Our chef took extra care to make
sure this is the best spaghetti and meatballs
you'll ever have. Are you gonna give it a try?
- That smells so good.

Don't do that to yourself.
- Dude, I'm so hungry. I lost.
Bruh. - Oh my God, that meatball. - I feel like if I can get
past this one though, I can get past the rest.

- I think I'm okay.
- Yeah, to be honest, I think I'm good. - I'm not taking a bite. - I'm just gonna take huge
whiffs of it. - Yeah.
Hey, we made it through one.

Whoo. - (Colette) Ratatouille?
It's a peasant dish. - Oh, Ratatouille.
- Oh, really? We're gonna taste the
ratatouille? - Ooh.
Ratatouille. - Oh my gosh.
Wait, I wanna try ratatouille.

- Aw, this movie's cute.
- This movie's really cute. - Oh God, I think I'm gonna
lose this time, 'cause I actually do wanna
try it. - It just looks really soft
and the texture looks so good. - It looks so scrumptious.
- With some sauce.

- I kinda wanna try it
really bad. - Oh my God. - Look at that.
Look how excited he is about it. - He was like the darkest
dude ever.

- I really like this movie. - (FBE) Now here is Remi's
yummy ratatouille. This country meal from
the Provence region of France tastes hearty yet delicate.
Do you wanna taste it? - I wanna try it so bad. - When am I gonna have
ratatouille like this? - Honestly, I'm down.
Oh, that's good.

- I'm gonna do it.
- Just do it. - I'm ruining this beautiful dish. - Okay, I'll let you know
how it is. - Yeah, let me know.
- That's really good.

- I wanna try it.
- How is it? - It's very juicy. - Okay, yeah.
I'm trying it. - It's really tasty. - I'm eating it.
Screw it, I win.

- Tell me if it's good.
- I'm not gonna tell you. It's good. - Oh, wow.
Oh, wow! My mouth is watering
as I'm eating it. - You're going for it?
- Yeah, I'm gonna go for it.

- Okay. Good?
- I can feel the same reaction as the guy had.
- It looks good, but I don't know. - I've always watched that movie
and be like, I'm never gonna get to try that
and now I have. This is great.

- (Chef) Sacre bleu.
What is this? - I don't remember the dish
that was made in this. - Well, it's something with crab
and crab is one of my favorite things. - Here we go, in the sauce.
- (Chef) Now some flour. I think just a dash.

- Are we about to eat
Sebastian? - It's gonna be crab.
He's so cute when he's only his eyes.
- This scene terrified me when I was younger.
I was like, "Don't kill Sebastian." - Me when I'm cooking. - This is torture.
That was torture. He was messing with that
little lobster, crab, whatever it is.
- I'm down for some crab. - (FBE) Now presenting
what chef Louis was in the middle of making,
stuffed softshell crab.

Will you be trying it? - I don't know.
- Oh my God, it smells so good. - Whoa. - Mm.
- Is it worth the loss? Is it worth the L?
- I ain't gonna tell you, but yeah.
- There's a little spice to it. It's a little kick.
- Mm hm.

- That's good.
- It's pretty good. - What does it taste like?
- I've never eaten crab before. It's good. - I'm not gonna try this.
- Yeah, I'm good.

I don't wanna lose. - You just showed me a video
of that little crab while he was alive.
I don't-- I feel bad now.
- I am going to pass on this one. - Yeah, I'ma pass. - It was worth it.
- Definitely eat again.

- (Door) But of course,
you've got the key. - Oh, Alice in Wonderland.
- No way, no way, no way! - What are we gonna eat?
- I've always wanted to try the "Eat me" cookies. - (Alice) Whatever will I do? - If those are those little treats
that she uses-- bro, I've always wanted
to taste these. - (Alice) Eat me?
- Oh, okay.

- (Alice) But goodness knows
what this will do. - There she goes. - I gotta get me some of
those cookies. - They look so good.
- I know, I'm gonna take those right before I play a game
of basketball.

- (FBE) So, here are
the "Eat me" cookies from Alice in Wonderland.
- Oh wow, it looks straight out of the movie. - Look at the visual.
That's all I gotta say. - I know.
- Aw yeah. - No, I'm not, I'm not.

- It's basically cake. - Yeah, okay.
I don't regret trying this one. - I think I can resist. - I wish you'd just not--
put a thing between us so I can't see her reaction.
I would have won on half of these.

- Oh, this is Sleeping Beauty?
Ha. Guess that Disney movie.
I'm doing great. - Is this Sleeping Beauty?
- What did she make? Cake? - (Fauna) Now yeast, one tsp.
- Tsp? - (Fauna) Tsp?
- Ah, I struggled with that for a while, until
I was 22. - It's when they have to hold
the cake up with the broom and everything.
I love this.

Oh my God, that dough
always looked so good to me. - Oh, it's a cake.
The one that looked so janky. - I remember when I was little,
I was like, "The cake is gonna fall!"
- Are you kidding? I was like, "Please fall
into my mouth." - If you bring out a cake
with a broom, - With a broom on it.
- I'll eat it. - (FBE) So, this is Aurora's
fifteen layer birthday cake.

Fauna may have had
a hard time with it, but our chef really knocked
it out of the park with this miniature version

- Go for it, bro. I don't think that was
a big enough bite.

This is your birthday cake, Carson.
Happy birthday. You can keep that.
I'm passing. - Dang it. - I'm not tasting that.

Top 10 Toxic Foods and Top 10 Healing Foods

Hey, guys, Dr. Axe here. Welcome to Ancient Medicine Today. Today we're going to be talking about the
top ten toxic foods and the top ten healing foods you should be getting in your diet every
single day.

Let's dive right in. We're going to talk about how to use food
as . . .

How many people today are using food as poison and then we're going to talk about
how to use food as medicine. By the way, help me share this message. Press that Share button right now and if you
like the video, click the Like button as well. All right, here is the number one toxic food
you need to stay away from, vegetable oil.

Vegetable oil such as canola oil, soybean
oil, corn oil, they're very high in omega-6 fatty acids which is going to imbalance your
omega-3 ratio causing system-wide inflammation. This can cause high cholesterol, it can cause
your skin to age faster, can cause weight gain big time and really just disease throughout
your body contributing to things like autoimmune disease. So again, stay away from vegetable oils. Most of them are hydrogenated oils and many
of them also come from GMO products.

In fact, over 90% of vegetable oils today
come from genetically modified plants such as GMO corn, soy, and canola. Stay completely away. Number two and by the way if you are one of
those people, I know my grandmother was convinced growing up that vegetable oil was good for
us. I'm glad that I know now that's not true,
but again, it's kind of tricky because people think vegetables are healthy.

Vegetable oil though is not healthy. Switch to healthier alternatives we'll talk
about here in the second part of our broadcast. Wheat products. You know, originally I remember my wife Chelsea
and I, going over to Europe, we were over in Tuscany and they have all of these rolling
hills of these grape vines.

But they also have rolling hills of this beautiful
golden wheat. There's a wheat over there it's known as einkorn
wheat and that type of wheat actually contains half the gluten, it's easier to digest, it's
just a very different grain. Today, our grains or our wheat has gone through
a process called a hybridization, so now it has much more starch, has less nutrients,
and has much higher levels of gluten than it did let's say a couple hundred of years
ago. So what I would say is you want to stay completely
away from all wheat products unless it's a sprouted ancient grain, even then only consuming
it in small amounts.

Go gluten free if you can, unless it's a sprouted
ancient grain. Most wheat products, not the best. Soy, I'll tell you, this is one of the things
that frustrates me the most. The reason is soy, 90% of it is genetically
modified and then typically isolated into a soy protein and the thing that makes me
so mad about this and I would love to hear if this fires you up as well.

But soy today is also put in infant baby formulas. We know that soy can be an endocrine disrupter,
it can affect estrogen levels and today, it's probably one of the top things that are found
in infant, in baby formulas today. So it's absolutely crazy that we are putting
soy and giving this to our kids. And hey, if you want other people to know
the truth that soy should not be in infant formula, press Share right now, help me get
the message out, or can I get an amen or a yes if you agree with me right now that soy
should not be in infant formulas.

It's in hospital formulas, meal replacements,
there are loads and loads of soy today. This is not a super food unless, hey if you're
in Japan or if it was prepared as it was traditionally in Japan as a natto which is an organic fermented
soy consumed in certain amounts, then yes, it can be a good food. But today it's not organic, it's GMO, it's
typically isolated, it's not fermented either and so it's not the same thing. Number four, conventional dairy products.

Listen, dairy if it's grass-fed, if it's organic,
it's from an animal like a goat and then it's fermented, hey, it might be healthy. The problem is most conventional dairy today
in fact, a study out of Spain found that if you go and buy your average glass or gallon
of milk, has around over 21 different medications and chemicals in it including hormone, different
hormonal drugs like estradiol, it contains antibiotics, it contains growth hormones like
rBGH and rBGST and some of these other growth hormones. Conventional dairy is one of the most toxic
things you can ever put in your body. So if you agree with me on this that dairy
and again, not all dairy, but 90% of dairy is highly toxic to the body, very dampening
causing weight gain, mucus, and phlegm buildup, gut digestive issues so on and so forth, let
me know that right now here on Facebook Live and YouTube Live.

But again, conventional dairy is white poison
if it's not consumed in its completely natural and fermented form. Number five, corn. Remember corn is GMO. Remember, just say no to GMOs.

My buddy Jeffrey Smith who started the non-GMO
movement is a great person to search online, but we know that corn products, now listen,
I'm not saying that corn is a bad food. If you're consuming some certified organic
corn on occasion, it can be okay for your health. But, GMOs, what GMOs are they had literally
the pesticides and different types of viruses laced into their DNA to now, they are toxic
to your gut. They may kill off probiotics in your gut microbial.

But again, if you're against GMOs as well
as me, hey, click the Like button and the Share button right now as well. But corn, toxic food, conventional meat products. Conventional meat especially pork or conventional
beef today is loaded with steroids and growth hormones. We know pork today is a carrier of many different
types of parasites.

Very, very toxic to the body, conventional
meat. Now, I do believe there's a place in our diet
for grass-fed certified organic meat that is humanely raised and cared for. The problem is again, 90% of meat today is
these animals are raised in small cages, they're cooped up, they don't get the sun, that's
a whole other thing. We've all heard the principle, you are what
you eat, what they ate, so if cows are eating grass, then hey, they have more omega-3 fats.

But it's not just eating grass, it's having
happiness. It's actually being out in the pasture, it's
drinking clean water, it's getting sunshine. All of these things that affect the animal,
when we consume their meat it actually affects us as well with their tissues. And so, I know we probably have some people
watching here as well who are vegans and vegetarians and for that reason, they don't consume any
meat whatsoever.

I don't go that far, but I do say only consume
meat that is completely organic, grass-fed, humanely raised and cared for. All other meat is toxic to your body. Number seven, white flour products. White flour is basically sugar.

This is essentially sugar when you're eating
it. It's highly inflammatory in the body, stay
away from white and wheat flour products both. Number eight, artificial sweeteners. We know artificial sweeteners such as sucralose
and NutraSweet, they're toxic to the body, they may cause kidney and liver damage.

They may support tumor growth, there have
been some studies to prove it. I know one of the most popular studies was
retracted because a pharmaceutical company didn't like the study. But again, just to say artificial sweeteners,
there's a great documentary called Sweet Misery. You may check out that documentary about the
dangers of these toxic artificial sweeteners.

Number nine is sugar. Plain old sugar is toxic to your body. Now, I'm not talking about raw local honey
or blueberries, I'm talking about isolated sugar can feed candida, can feed yeast, potentially
even cancer cells within the body, but sugar is toxic to your body. You want to stay completely away from it.

And listen, tap water this may shock you. Did you know tap water is loaded with chlorine
and fluoride, medical studies have actually shown that fluoride kills off probiotics in
your gut. You know all of the things probiotics are
responsible for? Probiotics actually create vitamins and minerals
for you, they help you absorb nutrients, they modulate your entire immune system, they are
critical for your overall health. We're destroying them by drinking tap water
on a regular basis.

And by the way, if you are enjoying the truth
of this live broadcast right now, take a minute right now and punch that Share button. There are millions of people that don't know
the truth that genetically modified organisms, conventional meat and dairy products, tap
water, these are toxic things that are absolutely destroying our bodies from the inside out. All right, now let's move into the top ten
healing foods we should be focusing on getting these in our diet every single week. Number one here is kale and other green leafy
vegetables.

Kale is known as the king of the vegetable
kingdom because it is so high in chlorophyll and also the cruciferous vegetables, and so,
contains some compounds that support liver detoxification, very high in calcium, very
high in vitamin K. It is one of nature's true super foods. I would throw kale in that category, but also
other greens such as collard greens, spinach is high up there, dandelion greens as well. Bone broth, one of my favorite super foods,
if not my very favorite.

Most of us are missing the amino acid in bone
broth today of proline, hydroxyproline, and glycine. These amino acids are kind of like the glue
that holds our body together, they support healthy skin, they support our joints, they
support our gut. Getting a bone broth liquid or doing a scoop
of a protein powder that comes from bone broth every single day is something I've recommended. I recommend it to all of my patients.

It's something I do in fact, I had it for
breakfast and right after a workout here today already. So again, bone broth, you want to make sure
you're getting this every single day. Bone broth also contains the compounds hyaluronic
acid, glucosamine, chondroitin which are incredible for healing and sealing a leaky gut and for
different types of joint arthritis. It's fantastic.

Number three here, salmon. Wild caught salmon such as sockeye or king
salmon is loaded with omega-3 fatty acids. We know omega-3s reduce inflammation. Also that dark red color of salmon that comes
from an antioxidant called astaxanthin which may in fact, support athletic performance
as well as anti-aging and may be a more powerful antioxidant than vitamin C and vitamin E both.

So again, getting salmon in your diet, one
of those super fish that is a great fish to get. And then blueberries, and by the way again,
if you are enjoying this live training in the top ten super foods, take a minute right
now and click that Share button, help me spread the word that food is medicine. So blueberries. Blueberries actually contain many different
unique types of antioxidants, flavonoids, but also, that same antioxidant that we hear
that makes red wine so beneficial, resveratrol? Resveratrol is also found in blueberry skins.

Not just grapes, but also blueberries. Blueberries are great for anti-aging, they're
very high on the antioxidant scale, they've got a good type of fiber that's actually very
gentle, but cleansing for your gut. And so, blueberries it's great to do blueberries
on a daily basis. Flax seeds.

Flax seeds contain different types of lignans
that have hormone balancing effects, flax seeds are also very high in omega-3 fatty
acids that are great and are really high in fiber, so great for cleansing the colon. So I typically do a couple tablespoons of
a sprouted flax meal in a bone broth smoothie every morning for breakfast. Cruciferous vegetables. Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower,
cabbage, Brussels sprouts, watercress, these vegetables contain a compound that increases
something in the body called indole-3-carbinol that actually detoxifies estrogen based compounds.

Have you ever heard that drinking out of plastic
or heated plastic is bad for you? The reason is because it contains phytoestrogens. Well, cruciferous vegetables will help your
body detoxify phytoestrogens from your body, really have tremendous health benefits. Also, they're very high in sulphur, great
for anti-aging, great for supporting cellular health. So get more cruciferous vegetables.

Now, I don't recommend cruciferous vegetables
raw, I recommend consuming them cooked or fermented as you would get in let's say a
sauerkraut or a kimchi. Number three here is chicken and beef liver. Did you know part of the original Gerson therapy
and the anti-cancer protocol was not just juicing vegetable, but it was consuming raw
calves liver or beef liver? They're oftentimes pressed in juice and the
reason is, liver is known as nature's B vitamins. It's very high in B vitamins, also supports
the detoxification of your own liver there as well.

Number eight is kefir, I mentioned this earlier,
we need more probiotics. You are what you eat, you are what you digest. If you don't have enough good bacteria in
your intestines and gut microbiome, you are not digesting many of the nutrients you're
eating properly. Probiotics, again kefir has more probiotics
than any other food on the planet in most cases.

Again, kefir, very, very high in probiotic
counts. So if somebody needs to build up gut bacteria,
kefir is the ultimate super food which is great for the immune system and gut health. And then mushrooms. Medicinal mushrooms such as reishi, shiitake,
maitake, turkey tail.

These mushrooms are great, it's great to do
a mushroom broth soup on a regular basis. You can do like rice and chicken, it's absolutely
delicious. But mushrooms are known as acting as adaptogens
helping balance cortisol and help your body better deal with stress, they're also great
for naturally energy production. Again, for boosting the immune system and
even some studies on them fighting cancer.

Reishi mushroom in Chinese medicine was known
as the mushroom of immortality. It was that beneficial for the health. And the number ten super food you want to
try and get your diet every single week is a seaweed. You can do a seaweed powder such as spirulina,
or chlorella are great as well.

There's also wakame and different types of
seaweed salads you could do. But seaweed is one of the most nutrient dense
super foods on the planet. Very high in chlorophyll, very high in B vitamins
and very high in plant based protein as well, and very detoxifying. In fact, there are studies showing that seaweed
may support and protect your body from radiation damage and other chemical and other toxic
exposures there as well.

So getting seaweed in your diet is another
great thing you can do. And by the way, if you've enjoyed this live
training, do me a favor, press the Share button, click the Like button, help me get this message
out that food is medicine. Let's do a quick rundown. Here's the top ten things you've got to get
out of your diet now.

Vegetable oil, wheat products, soy, conventional
dairy, GMO corn, conventional meat, white flour, artificial sweeteners, sugar and tap
water. Here are the top ten foods you want to consume. Kale and other green leafy vegetables, bone
broth, salmon, blueberries, flax seeds, also cruciferous vegetables, chicken liver, beef
liver, kefir, mushrooms, and seaweed. Hey, if you switch out those ten and add in
these ten, you are going to take your health to a whole new level.

Top 10 Tastiest Deep Fried Foods

Don't knock it, till you fry it. Welcome to WatchMojo.Com, and today we're counting down our picks, for the top 10
deep fried foods. For this list, we're keeping it simple. These are the
tastiest deep fried foods this world has to offer.

When it comes to take-out Chinese food, this is hands down one of the most popular dishes. But according to food author, Andrew Coe, the humble egg roll was actually
invented in New York City in the 1930's. Many cultures have dishes similar to
this Chinese take-out favorite, but you know a classic egg roll when
you see and taste one. Similar to "spring rolls" which are made with rice paper, egg rolls are different, in that they're made
with a flour base dough.

Which gives their wrapping a
distinctly crispy, yet chewy texture, and has the added meaty goodness of
chicken, pork, or shrimp shoved inside, plus, we think it counts, as a serving of veggies, since there's some carrots and
cabbage stuffed in there too. Is there any fried food more
quintessentially American than these puppies? A hot dog on a stick, dipped in corn batter and deep
fried to golden perfection. It's a tasty carnival and boardwalk treat, reminiscent of a simpler time. The origin of the corn dog is highly
contested, with multiple parties taking responsibility, but we do know that it
appeared in its earliest form, minus the stick in 1927.

It since been reinterpreted every which way, like trading the corn batter for a
battered french fry crust, giving you a hot dog and fries wrapped in one. But the classic interpretation as
celebrated on "National Corn Dog Day", simply can't be beat. Although common in many regions of the
world including Southeast Asia, North Africa, East Africa, the Middle East and more, samosas are most strongly
associated with Indian cuisine, mentioned
in history books as early as the 10th century. The most popular main dishes in Indian
cuisine are curry dishes, meat and/or vegetables in a thick flavorful sauce, served with rice or naan bread, they're delicious, but not exactly an
ideal food on the go...

Samosas on the other hand, are the
perfect quick and portable tasty treat, a wheat or maida flour shell is stuffed
full of potato, peas, spices, green chillies and sometimes meat, then deep-fried, paired with either mint sauce or a tamarind chutney, samosas are
generally affordable, and sure to satisfy. Squid is an extremely popular food
in the Mediterranean, Asia and certain areas of Europe, South Africa and the Middle East, where it served in countless different preparations, in North America however, fried calamari reign supreme. A popular dish, especially in seafood
restaurants and bars, fried calamari is a great alternative, to your more run-of-the-mill appetizers,
like mozzarella sticks or wings. Calamari can get tough and chewy, if overcooked, so keep it under two minutes in the fryer, and serve with lemon for a simple,
yet scrumptious treat.

Got a friend who's grossed out by squid? Slip a couple of fried calamari
in amongst their onion rings, and change their minds. Just make sure they don't have a seafood allergy, first. Speaking of those
delicious crispy rings of vegetable goodness, you didn't think we'd leave
them out, did you? Is there any better way to eat an onion
than in their deep fried battered ring form? You can go for a simple milk and flour batter, but given that their a classic bar food, you really need to try beer battering
them to experience onion rings at their best. A&W is credited with helping to
popularize them across the states as a fast-food side, but recipes can be found
dating back as far as the early 1800's hundreds.

If an onion ring was good enough to stand in,
as a wedding ring for Marge Simpson, then it's good enough for us, just give us a whole plate. Doughnuts come in all shapes and sizes, with many related dishes around the world, including funnel cakes,
beignets, churros, and loukoumas, but when you hear the word, "doughnut", it's hard not to imagine the classic
powdered version, or frosted with sprinkles. There are a number of contested stories
explaining how doughnuts develop their famous shape, some believe the tale of a sea captain who, struggling to hold his oil cake and the wheel of his ship, poked or shot a
hole through the cake center, creating a doughnut hole, others say, some savvy cook simply realized, they bake more evenly in a ring shape. Regardless, they've only grown in popularity since, and were a staple for
young men serving in World War I.

Tempura isn't your typical frying batter, it's usually made with cold water, wheat flour, egg and optional spices. Tempura is traditionally cooked in sesame seed oil, which helps give it a distinct flavour
and preserves its uniquely light crispy texture, the batter is also kept very cold, and mixed minimally to avoid triggering the gluten, which would result in a more doughy finished product. Japanese society has been frying food
since ancient times, but the current base recipe, still used today, can be traced back to 1671. Tempura is usually applied to vegetables and seafood, with shrimp
serving as a particularly lovely pairing, it's typically served on a bed of rice
or with soba noodles, or accompanied by a dipping sauce.

Whether you say, "potato" or "potahto", let's call the whole thing delicious
and deep fry these suckers, from fries to chips,
pommes de terre frit, you know you're ordering something
delicious. This side dish has been
reinterpreted too many ways to count, but you'd be hard-pressed to find someone, who doesn't enjoy a basic side of perfectly cooked fries, season with some combination of salt, ketchup, vinegar, or mayo. Funnily enough, french fries may not have
even originated in France, though the French do still argue it, instead, some trace their origin to Belgium, dating back to the 1600's hundreds. American soldiers first encountered the
delicious side dish there in World War I, where the local language is French, and thus refer to them, wrongly as "french fries".

Some iteration
of this dish exists in most cultures around the world, that being said, most fried fish dishes
can be traced back to pescado frito, a dish that originated in the Andalusia
region of Spain. Historians believe that
Spanish Jews emigrating to England, introduce the dish upon their arrival in 17th century, and that it then
evolved into the widely popular English dish, "fish and chips". Typically, cheaper fish is used, since the battering and frying
technique helps to mask bland flavors, through seasoning and pleasant textures, but cheap fish or not, when properly spiced up, fried fish is simply divine. Before we unveil our number one pick, here are some honorable mentions.

With a wide variety of possible preparation techniques, Southern-style is
still the most iconic version. The idea was first brought to the table
by Scots immigrating to the U.S., Where African slaves got a taste
and made it even better, a staple of soul food, when properly prepared, fried chicken is a textural
combination that's hard to beat. The flour dredge provides a
satisfying crunchy exterior when fried, giving way to mouth-wateringly juicy
meat on the interior. There are some fast food juggernauts from
KFC to Popeyes and Chick-Fil-A, that claim to have perfected the recipe, but at heart, fried chicken is still a home-cooked
meal above all else, and if you're in a breakfast-y mood, add some waffles or go to LA's Roscoe's.
