KIDS TRY GROSS PICKLE FLAVORED FOODS! Kids Vs. Food

- Ew, who would make this? - Oh God, that's disgusting.  (French accordion music)  - (FBE) So today, we're gonna
have you try a trending craze that's spreading all around.
- All right. What is it? - (FBE) We're gonna present you
with a few pickle flavored foods. - Yummy pickles.
They're sour.

- I'm also kinda scared,
'cause I know pickles are sour. - I used to like pickles a lot,
so I don't know if I like them all the time now,
but I'll try it. - I'm not a big fan of pickles,
but they're all right. - I hate pickles.
They're really sour and sometimes the juice
gets everywhere, which is really gross.
Hopefully, it's not too bad.

- Even if you used to find
it weird, you might still like it, so that's why I like
trying new things. - (FBE) Here's your first one. - Pickle flavored ice? - I can smell the pickle. - This is like a pickle
flavored-- pickle flavored freeze pop.

- Is this just frozen
pickle juice? - The worst thing about
pickles is the juice and I have to eat it.
I don't want to. - Ugh.
That's so sour. - Sour.
It's really, really sour. - It's just pickle juice.
It's fine.

- Oh.
That's good. Wow, I did not expect that.
It's sour, but the good kind of sour. - Tastes normal like pickles,
but the aftertaste tastes like regular ice.
It's so weird. I don't like it.

- It's like tasting frozen
salt water. That's basically what it
feels like. I actually like it. - (FBE) These are
pickled ice pops.

Van Holten's is the company
responsible for this treat. They claim this to not only
be a refreshing treat on a hot day, but they also
help rehydrate with electrolytes. - Oh.
I never knew that. - I wouldn't eat or drink
this first if it was hot outside.
I would choose something like cold water or something.

- (FBE) All right,
here's your next one. - Oh no.
Smells like vinegar. - Pickle flavored popcorn. - Huh.
This is interesting.

Ew, I don't like it
that much. - I mean, it's all right.
The taste of the popcorn, it overlaps the pickle taste. - Well I mean,
I'm not actually tasting a lot of pickles, surprisingly.
It's more of popcorn rather than pickle. - Better than the last one.
Not as salty.

- It's sweet and it has
a little bit of sour in it, which balances it. - (FBE) So, this is pickle
popcorn, not to be confused with pickled popcorn.
That would be weird. But, you can find these
treats at Boomchickapop and Trader Joe's
and it's called popcorn in a pickle.
- I don't think I'll buy that. - Nothing like cheesy popcorn,
but it's still good.

I would eat this popcorn
if I went to a movie. - If it was movie night
and we had popcorn and my sister tried to prank
me with this, I would not notice at all.
I would just keep on eating. - (FBE) Here's your next one.
- Oh no. No, no!
Why do pickle soda? - Ew, who would make this?
Pickle juice is already enough.

Who wants pickle soda? - I don't like soda.
I don't even like Sprite. - I don't smell anything
right now, but let's see how it tastes. Ugh.
I don't hate it, but it's just so sour. - Oh God, that's disgusting.
Don't try this ever.

- Ew.
It was so gross. It was sour and fizzy
together. - Mm.
It smelled like a pickle, but it doesn't taste like one. - It's just soda,
but if you put a pickle in it for
a few minutes.

- (FBE) This is pickle
juice soda found in trendy Rocket Fizz stores.
- I might drink it, but I don't think that
I would always drink this as my go-to drink. - Pure cane sugar.
There's sugar in it. Pickles are vinegary.
Sugar is sweet. If you put those two
together, you make this disgusting, atrocious mix.

- (Crowd reeling) - (FBE) Here's your next one.
- A pickle flavored candy cane? - I was hoping there would
be pickle candy. - Smells like nothing,
but that makes it even worse, 'cause that means
now you can't tell if it's gonna be good or bad. - I don't really taste pickle.
It's more sweet than anything. - They don't taste like anything.
It's not minty, but it's just like a
regular lollipop.

- They are good.
I don't really taste any pickle. Got a little bit of sourness,
a little bit of pickle in it, but it's really sweet
after the taste. - When you first taste it,
it tastes like an ordinary candy cane, but then
a little bit after, you feel that pickle
flavor coming in. - (FBE) So, this is a pickled
candy cane, infusing pickle into a candy that also has
the cool refreshing taste of mint.

- I don't taste any mint. - Doesn't taste minty at all.
I would definitely buy this. - It just tastes like a
candy cane, except that it's green.
I would take this whole thing home with me. - (FBE) Here's your last one.
- What is this? - It looks like a slushy.
I've never had a pickle flavored slushy.

- I'd like to see how
this tastes, so let's get into it. - Ugh. - I feel like there's lime
or lemon in this. It feels like they just
squeezed pickle juice into it and then mixed it up.

- Oh, that's good.
First, it just tastes like pickle, but when it's the aftertaste,
it tasted like lemonade, so I liked it. - It kinda tastes sour, too.
It tastes very similar to something that I feel
like I had before. It tastes good. - (FBE) This is a pickled
slushy.

It's been introduced at
participating Sonic Drive-Ins. They came up with a frozen
concoction to add to it's line of already
unapologetically neon beverages. - They could have just made
it lime. They didn't need to make
it pickle.

This trend should stop
dead in its tracks. - It's definitely odd. - They just made a pickle
slushy just to add to their colorful beverages?
I would not do that. - (FBE) So, what did you
think of trying these pickle flavored foods today?
- They weren't that bad, actually.
I thought they'd be worse.

- I still don't like pickles.
Some I really hated, but some I really liked,
which is surprising. - Pickle flavored foods
in general are kind of weird, but some, if you get to try
new things, you might actually like them and
for me, I liked the popcorn. - I like these and if
anyone suggested this, thank you, because
these are delicious. - Thanks for watching

KIDS TRY 90s DRINKS!Kids Vs. Food

- Bubbly.  (French accordion music)  - (FBE) So, we're going
back to the '90s today to have you try some drinks.
- Ooh. Let's see what drinks they have. - (FBE) So, a lot of popular
'90s drinks we couldn't get today because they are discontinued
and expired, but we got some good ones
here for you still.

- Yay. - I don't know '90s drinks.
Coke and Pepsi, that's all I'm expecting. - I feel like they're gonna
be really big and fizzy. I'm excited.
I'm really ready and I just love trying
new things 'cause it's so fun.

- (FBE) Here's your
first drink. - Yay. - Oh, it's one of these.
I had these a couple days ago. - This looks like a medicine
bottle, kind of or a baby bottle.

- It looks like jello
in a bottle. - Oh, you spin it probably.
Okay. That's pretty good.
It has a good flavor and then it also has
an apple taste in it. - This is a different flavor.
Kinda tastes like apple with lime.

- Okay, that's good.
It kinda tastes like a popsicle, but a liquid
version of a popsicle. - (Narrator) A few
moments later. - (FBE) That's good. - (Narrator) One
eternity later.

- A lot of liquid coming out
tonight, that's for sure. - This is really good.
You can really taste the flavor more than you
could with the other ones. - (FBE) So, Mondo
was produced in 1991 and it's extra fun because
you can squeeze it and drink it. - It is fun.
I like it.

- I can honestly see
my friends just taking it off and squirting at each other
instead of actually drinking it. - (FBE) Here's your next one.
- What is-- huh?
It just looks like an energy drink for kids. - You know it's a Surge
because one, two, three. Three "Surges" on it.

- Citrus flavor.
I'm not really a citrus fan. - It smells like Coke,
but it looks like Mt. Dew, 'cause it's green. - It looks cool,
but I don't know if I'll like it.

This one tastes like Sprite. - Good.
Tastes like ginger ale. - That's really good.
The citrus flavor actually bursts out. - I like it.
It kind of tastes like lime.

- I think it's pretty good. - (FBE) So, Surge is
a citrus flavored drink made in the '90s
by Coca Cola. - Oh, I see.
Yeah, it's kinda like-- they're pretty similar,
the way that they taste, so yeah, I get it. - Do they still make these?
I'ma see if I can find one, 'cause this is really good.

- (FBE) Here's another one. - Orbitz. - I've never tried one of these.
Raspberry? - (Pop sound)
- Oh, that was so loud. - Bubbly.

- It's good.
It tastes like Sprite. - Oh, that's good.
That's good. - There's nothing that I can
say that I don't like about it, it's just really bland. - It tastes kind of like
Sour Patch Kids but without the sourness.

- It tastes like lemonade,
but just more fizzy. I like it.
I'd probably drink this now. - (FBE) So, this is Orbitz.
It was made in 1997 and used to have edible,
floating orbs in it. Some consumers compared
it to a lava lamp.

- You can't get the Orbitz
anymore? - (FBE) No.
- Okay, still good. - If it had orbs in it,
I'd probably not wanna drink it, 'cause I'd be terrified.
I'd be like, what is in that? - (FBE) So, here is your next.
- What the heck? Powder?
Am I a baby now? Am I drinking powdered milk? - It kinda reminds me
of Kool Aid with the powder and stuff. This is fun. - Some smoke.

- Looks like orange juice,
but without pulp. - This is just OJ. - This is not what
I was expecting. Tastes like an orange.

- I like it,
'cause I've tried it before. Like oranges, but a little sour. - I don't like it.
It has a little tint of orange. - I like it, except there's
so much water flavor.

- (FBE) So, Tang,
it's a kick in a glass. While still made today,
and while it was started in the '50s, Tang was
especially popular in the '90s and had some great commercials.
- It's kind of fun. It's a little bad because you
don't really wanna do anything, you just wanna drink it. - It's not bad,
but it's not great.

- (FBE) Here's your next. - Clearly Canadian. - I heard this.
Didn't they stop this one for a while and then
brought it back? I'm pretty sure there was
a Patreon for a while to help it. - This just looks like
sparkling water.

There's not really color to it,
so that's what I'm assuming it is. - It's sparkling water.
I really don't like sparkling water. - Tastes like cherry.
I like cherries. - Ew.
I don't know what about it, it just doesn't taste good
at all.

- That's so sour.
If you love sour, guys, you should try this.
It's sour. It should be called
Sourly Canadian. - (FBE) So, Clearly Canadian
is sparkling water with a hint of fruit flavor.
It has been brought back and is now made again today.
- I like the fruit flavor, it's just not the sparkling part
because I just-- I don't know why.
I just don't like sparkling water. - Brought back today,
so that must have been-- meant it was a success.

- (FBE) So overall,
how did you feel about all these '90s drinks?
- They were overall delicious. I loved them. - I kinda feel like
a lot of them are better than the drinks we have today,
'cause a lot of the drinks we have now, it's just basically
water with sugar and coloring, but I thought they were
really good. - It's making me wanna
live in the 1990's now.

KIDS EAT MEXICAN FOODKids Vs. Food

- Might as well put this sauce,
'cause I'm a saucy man.  (French accordion music)  - (FBE) Cinco de Mayo
is around the corner and we thought we'd celebrate
with some Mexican food today. - Oh, that's awesome.
I love Mexican food. I mean, I'm Mexican,
so my grandma always makes me Mexican food.

- Ooh, Cinco de Mayo.
Chips and salsa. Taco Tuesday, yes. - I remember I went
to Mexico before. - Mexico, yay! - (FBE) Most people think
that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's independence day,
but it is not.

- Isn't it when Mexico won
that war between three other areas?
I'm guessing that's when they won. - (FBE) It is most celebrated
in Puebla, where the Mexican victory of the Battle of Puebla
took place on May fifth, 1862. Puebla is a city in east central
Mexico, and it's just southeast of Mexico City.
- Whoa. You just kinda hit me with
an information bomb right there.

- (FBE) So, the food we're
presenting you with today were made from several
local authentic Mexican restaurants in Los Angeles and the food
is eaten year round, but especially on a day
of celebration like Cinco de Mayo. Also, just a disclaimer that
I am a non-native speaker, so I'm gonna do my best
not to destroy the pronunciation of these meals.
- Okay. I understand.
I pronounce a lot of things wrong. - One question.
Is it spicy? - I'm probably gonna get
really good food.

I mean, I don't think
there's any really bad Mexican food out there. - My main favorite
is Spanish rice. I am excited, 'cause I have
many Mexican friends. - (FBE) Here is your first
Mexican dish.

- A taco. - Reminds me of a taco
or a burrito. It's cheese on it. - Yeah, there's definitely
meat in there.

There's like--
I think that might be cheese. - It's good.
The meat, it's greasy. - It's good.
I have no idea what the meat is.
I'm pretty sure it's beef. - I like that a lot.
It has a little bit of spice and I love spice.

- Feel like I kinda was
punched in the face with flavor right there. - (FBE) This is called
mole poblano and it's considered the
national dish of Mexico. Making moles is very
labor intensive and requires many ingredients.
Certain recipes contain ten varieties of chilies alone.
- That's a lot of work to put in just that. - As Gordon Ramsay would say,
"Finally, some good food." - (FBE) Here's your next one.
- Ooh, it's guacamole.

- (FBE) That is not guacamole.
That is a salsa. - That is a salsa. - Is that cheese? - Looks just scary.
It just looks like red and it looks like it's chili.
This in itself is an experience. - Just above spicy.
Might as well put the sauce, 'cause I'm a saucy man.

- I don't care for it.
Just a slimy texture. - I got a little of the chicken.
That's good. I like the chip with the salsa.
A-ok. - Mm, so good.
Spicy, mwah, love it.

- It was good for the
spiciness. - That's definitely a good
amount of heat to it, but it's not crazy. - This is so hot. Ah, that's better.

- (FBE) This one's called
a chalupa. Chalupas are fried, thick
tortillas topped with salsa, shredded meat, chopped onion,
and sometimes queso fresco. - I knew there was cheese on it. - I would eat this again
and again.

Good stuff. - (FBE) Okay, here's your
next one. - Oh my God, yes!
It's Spanish rice! - Is that an enchilada? - It has green in it.
Ew, I don't wanna eat it. - It smells spicy.
I love it.

- I don't really like it.
It's too greasy. - Tastes like grass. - It's not good.
There's a vegetable in it. It almost tastes like
a green bean.

- (FBE) So, this one is called
chile relleno. - More like greasy
mc-grease grease. - (FBE) The chile relleno
is regarded as one of the most emblematic dishes
of Mexico. Its origin dates back to
the 16th century during the period of Spanish
conquest in Mexico.

- That's a very long time.
Did they write down the recipe and then just send it over
through generations or something? - (FBE) All right, here's
your next one. This is a Mexican snack.
- Is that guacamole? These are tortilla chips.
This is my favorite one of all. - I think this is tomato.
Is it? - Is that watermelon?
Why is there watermelon? - I'm just going in,
'cause I might know what this is. - Mm mm.
I don't like it.

It's just bitter to me. - I wasn't expecting it,
so when I bit into it, it was all juicy. - Is that watermelon?
That's watermelon in guacamole? - (FBE) Though uncommon,
this is a special kind of recipe to spice up
your traditional guacamole. It's watermelon guacamole.
Watermelon is a versatile fruit with a flavor that pairs
perfectly with many of the ingredients in
traditional Mexican dishes.

- See, I like watermelon,
but I wouldn't want watermelon with guacamole on it. - Guacamole is amazing.
Watermelon is amazing. Put it together, the two best
foods in the world. - (FBE) All right, here's
your last one.

- Cake!
Yes, yay! - It looks like a liquid cake. - I had three milks before,
or tres leches. That's right, I know it. - It looks so beautiful.
I don't wanna eat it, but I am.

- Just tastes kind of
soft and really sugary. - It tastes like regular vanilla
cake with frosting and chocolate. -  (Chariots of Fire)  - This is good.
I would eat this cake more often. - First of all, it's cake.
Second of all, the frosting, the chocolate is so good.

- (FBE) This is tres leches,
a very juicy kind of cake. This became popular in
Latin America and has evolved into a standard celebration cake.
Various regions of Mexico actually claim it as their own,
but Nestle is responsible for taking the tres leches
cake mainstream. - I had it at so many
birthday parties now, it's unreal. - I love it.
It's my child.

Can I have it?
It's my baby. - (FBE) So, what did you think
of these Mexican dishes today? - Some of them were really,
really spicy. In the end, I got to eat
dessert. - I'm excited for Cinco de Mayo
because it's a day for Mexico to celebrate.

- Cinco de Mayo. - Thanks for watching Kids

KIDS EAT FILIPINO SNACKS!Kids Vs. Food

(French accordion music)  (screencaps whoosh) - (FBE) So today,
you're going to try Filipino snacks. - What? What's a Filipino snack? - Is that spicy? - It's probably not going
to be the best thing in the world. - I'm Filipino. I feel kind of nervous
because there's stuff I've never heard of or my mom has told me
about and I don't like the sound of it.

- (FBE) The subscribers
have asked us to have you try a lot of different types
of Filipino foods, including snacks, so we got some of the most requested
for you to try today and might even do more in the future. - We got you. I love anything that's food. - The viewers are requesting this.

That's why I'm scared. - I watch some Filipino YouTubers. They talk about their snacks
that they have, and they seem kinda good. - I'm excited because I'm hungry, so I'm just gonna dig right in.

- (FBE) Here is your first snack. - This looks like dog food. - Is it hard? Okay. It looked like a nut,
but a carmelized nut.

- It looks like those garlic...
Some sort of nut. (Crunching) - I guess one's a corn nut. - It smells like corn nut,
it tastes like a corn nut.

But I don't know what kind. It's probably not barbecue. - (FBE) So that was Boy Bawang. It's a corn chip with Adobo seasoning.

- This is too good. I feel like I really want
to eat the whole cup. - I like it. It's way sweeter than usual nuts.

- I really don't know what Adobo is. - (FBE) Adobo is a popular dish
in the Philippines that has meat, seafood, or veggies,
marinated in a sauce of vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic. So that's what you should
be tasting from these chips. - Yuck! - I don't really taste much vinegar.
I taste a lot of garlic.

- I love these.
Can I take these home? - (FBE) Here is your next one. - It's squishy. - Ooh, it smells like chocolate. - Is this like sweet bread? Is it cake? - This is super foamy.

It makes my mouth really dry. - It's kind of bland. It does not taste as great it smells. - When you bite into it,
it just crumbles everywhere in your mouth
and it has a weird aftertaste.

- It's so sweet! It tastes like cake, except it's drier. - (FBE) That was a mocca cake. It's a mocca flavored sponge cake. - It's a cake? It tastes terrible.

Cakes don't taste terrible. - I like it. It just tastes like chocolate. - I would like to try more flavors,
like strawberry, vanilla.

I think I would like it a lot. - (FBE) Here's your next one.
- Chocolate! - Om! Mmm, what? Whoa. What? It tastes like nuts. What is happening? - Peanut butter.
Chocolate peanut butter.

- Hmmm. Sweet. It just melts in your mouth. - That feels like I'm gonna
have a sugar rush, even after one.

- It tastes like a nut, but if you put a ton of it
packed into one bite. - I don't really like it. I'm not a fan of peanuts. - (FBE) That was a Choc Nut.

It's a popular chocolate candy
in the Philippines made with milk, chocolate, and peanuts. - Best candy ever 2017. - Milk chocolate is probably,
by far, my favorite chocolate. - (FBE) Here is your next one.

(Wrapper crinkles)
- Do I got to take off the wrapper? What? What is this stuff? - The inside kinda looks like rocks,
but I'm speculating this probably would be chocolate
or hard chocolate. - It doesn't smell like anything
except for salt. Sugar. - Looks like a dried plum.

Egh! - Are most of these candy?
- (FBE) Um, maybe. (Wrapper crinkling)
- Dad, don't get mad at me. Aah, hard! Oh, that's hard. - Ow, ow, ow, ow.
It is SO-- it is kind of hard and gummy-like.

It tastes like raisins. - Whenever I try biting into it,
it just doesn't work. Its defenses are impenetrable! - (FBE) So that was a salted tamarind. It's a little pod-like fruit.
- Oh, it's a fruit? Well, that's new.

- That explains the thing in the middle. - I didn't like its texture,
and I didn't like its taste, and I didn't like anything about it. - (FBE) So your last one
is more of a dessert than a snack, but we get a lot of requests for it, so we wanted you to give it a try. - Uh, what's this? - (Gasping) Oh, it's cold! - I want to see what's at the bottom.

It looks like corn. Ugh! Corn on a dessert? What is this? - It looks weird! There's a gooey thing on the side
with sesame seeds on top. - Huh-ho-ho! This actually
looks kinda delicious. - No, no, no.

No, no. That tastes like almond milk,
and I'm not really an almond milk fan. - It is Halo-halo. I have to-- So there's the ube ice cream
and then there's the flan.

I haven't had this for a while. And then there's the crushed ice. And then there's that milk part, and then at the bottom is a jello. - I like the purple stuff
but not everything else.

- I thought it was
gonna taste like ice cream. And it doesn't. - (FBE) This is called Halo-halo,
which translates to "Mix-mix." Some of its ingredients
include ice cream, sweet ube, sweet beans, flan, and jackfruit. - I like that it has a lot of components, so it has a lot of different flavors,
but then they still go together.

- I don't like it. It's just too fruity. - I would tell
a lot of people to try this. This is amazing.

- (FBE) For the poll,
which one of these Filipino snacks would you recommend people eat?
- Halo-halo. - The Choc Nut. - The mocca sponge cake. - You would like the Choc Nut.

- The Halo-halo...
'Cause it's like ice cream. - Choc Nut. It tastes
like peanuts and chocolate and that's my baby.

- I recommend trying the Halo-halo. It's probably the most
delicious dessert I've ever tasted. - The Halo-halo
because it was really sweet and it tasted like a milkshake
and it has a bunch of different flavors. It has something sweet,
something savory, something sour.

Like, they have a lot
of variety in their snacks. - Thanks for watching this episode

KIDS EAT FILIPINO SNACKS!Kids Vs. Food

Is Organic Food Worth the Cost

You are what you eat, goes the old saying. And everywhere we are urged to eat organic:
it's more nutritious, pesticide-free, and protects animals and the environment. At least, that's what we are being told  or
rather, sold. And thanks to a lot of very effective marketing,
many people believe it.

That's why, when researchers at Cornell University
gave study participants a choice between two identical items, one labeled "organic" and
one "regular," the participants confidently declared the "organic" choice to be lower
in calories and more nutritious. They also said they'd pay 16 to 23 percent
more for the organic choice. But these beliefs about organic food have
nothing to do with reality. In 2012, Stanford University's Center for
Health Policy did the most comprehensive comparison and found organic foods are not nutritionally
superior to conventional alternatives.

And a more recent review of 20 years of research
into animal products by Italian researchers confirmed these findings. The authors concluded: "Scientific studies
do not show that organic products are more nutritious and safer than conventional foods." That's fine, you might say. You don't eat organic foods just because of
the health benefits, but because you care about the treatment of farm animals and of
the environment. Unfortunately, the facts don't support these
beliefs either.

Animals on organic farms are not generally
healthier than animals on regular farms. A five-year US study of dairy farms showed
that "health outcomes [for animals on organic farms] are similar to conventional dairies." And the Norwegian Scientific Committee for
Food Safety reached a similar conclusion. It found "no difference in objective disease
occurrence" on organic dairy farms as compared to conventional dairies. And while pigs and poultry on organic farms
may enjoy better access to open areas, this freedom, studies show, also increases their
exposure to parasites, pathogens and predators.

As for the environment, yes, organic farming
will mean that in any one field, a farmer will use less energy and create fewer greenhouse
gases. But there's a problem here. By forgoing fertilizers and pesticides, organic
farming is much, much less efficient than standard farming, which means that organic
farmers need much more land to grow the same amount of food. A major study in Europe found that to produce
the same gallon of milk organically, you need 59% more land.

To produce meat, you need 82% more land. And for crops, its more than 200%. And more land for agriculture means less land
for nature. If U.S.

Agricultural production was entirely
organic, it would mean we would need to convert an area bigger than the size of California
entirely to farmland. Economically, the lower productivity of organics
means we have to commit more resources  land, labor and capital. The total cost to the US economy of going
organic would run to about $200 billion annually. But, surely organic food means no pesticides,
right? Wrong.

Organic farming can use any pesticide that
is "natural. Natural pesticides include, for example, copper
sulphate and Pyreethrin. The former has resulted in liver disease in
vineyard sprayers in France, according to a 1996 study; and the latter, a 3.7-Fold increase
in leukemia among farmers who handled it compared to those who had not, according to a 2002
study. Yes, it is true that non-organic foods carry
a higher risk of pesticide contamination.

But that risk is almost non-existent. Rough calculations suggest that all the pesticides
on food eaten by Americans may cause around 20 extra cancer deaths per year. You have a similar chance of being mauled
to death by a cow. In sum, organic food is not healthier for
you, nor is it better for animals and the environment than conventionally farmed food.

I know this goes against everything you have
come to believe, but that only proves the power of marketing. Organic food is a First World luxury. And while buying it is just as valid as any
other luxury purchase, one should resist any implied moral superiority  as, for example,
when fashion designer Vivienne Westwood famously exclaimed that people who can't afford organic
food should "eat less." Unfortunately, a lot of people in the developing
world don't have the option of eating less. They worry about eating, period.

To do that they need access to cheaper food,
which means more access to effective fertilizers and pesticides. So, next time you see organic produce at the
supermarket, don't just swallow the marketing campaign without some critical thought. I'm Bjorn Lomborg, president of the Copenhagen
Consensus Center..

Is Organic Food Worth the Cost

Irish People Try Stereotypical Irish Foods

Cabbage is coming back in though. It is like
new fashionable food isn't it? They're calling it Kale.
Oh yeah, yea, people are wearing it! You see these ladys going around Grafton Street
with cabbage suit jackets. When leprechauns get stoned and they crave
a bit of food, they eat lucky charms. It's pretty good, I really like it.
It's very sugary though.

It's sugary but delicious.
I'd say this would get you buzzing (hyper). Maybe Americans feel this is the stuff we
eat and that we are all little red-haired. Yea, I don't know where they get that from.
I don't know where they get that from. This is not what we're like.
Only half of my family can juggle..

Marshmallows. It's not a big thing over here.
First off, you don't get food in a pub, you get drink.
And especially on Paddy's (St Patricks) Day, you are getting twice as much drink on Paddy's
Day. Nevermind the cabbage.
We don't be doing too much eating on the 17th (St. Patricks Day).
It's looks like dog food.

How dare you.
This is what your parents brought you up on. Oh, man..
Yea, that is pretty Irish now. Warms the cockles of my heart.
Right, so potatoes again. Cabbage again.
Just no beef.

And Americans thing we eat this?
Yea, they're right! 1600S right, traditional Irish.
And then it was just.. Col. It was just Cabbage. Good Irish butter.
Where would you get colcanon, after a night out?
Can I get a Taco Colcanon, please? That's the shit they cook inside stomachs.
To Americans, Scotland/Ireland, what's the big difference.
They might think Scotland Ireland, Celts is all the one country.
Which technically it isn't but it is sort of, culturally very similar.
Oh man, it's a foot.

Oh my god, it is literally a pig's foot.
Is that soft? Blugarblar. Is the trotter?.. Jesus.
That is rotten. Here do you want some Trotter?
I'd say that's lovingly prepared but just..

It's a foot like.
It's a foot. Yess..!
This is like, an Irish man's battery. You just pop them in and you are good to go.
Here, you are actually a barman so. Here you go.
That's the trick, you are meant to pour, not look at it, throw here up, throw here down,
that's the pour.

You go all of the world and taste it and then
complain about it. Yeah, yea.
Got a pint in Fiji there, now wasn't the best man.
Slainte (to good health), slainte..

Irish People Try Stereotypical Irish Foods

i tried FILIPINO 7 ELEVEN and fast foods in MANILA PHILIPPINES

Good morning, guys! I am in Manila in the Philippines Right now and a lot of you guys have been requesting me to make you fast food video while I'm here in the Philippines I've got two places in mind that I. Really really want to try the fast food from.
One of them is one that I love and I've done a lot on my channel And the other one is something that is so popular in the Philippines. They-- all my viewers from here have been practically harassing me to try this.

So I'm excited to finally try it and see if it's gonna be that delicious like Everyone says it is so we're gonna head outside and get some delicious food. I hope you guys enjoy it So this is my very first stop. This is Jollibee. Everyone from the Philippines said that I have to come here.

This is like the most popular fast food place in the Philippines. I also I keep on calling it / Jobeelli /  instead We're gonna go in. But I'm not sure what kind of breakfast slash lunch food They've got because it's kind of a weird time I love they've got is giant bee as the logo so
We're gonna go inside and see what kind of stuff they do and then I might bring it to my hotel room and eat it Later, so I'm trying to decide where I'm gonna get but the menu is insane They've got practically everything from spaghetti to fried chicken just something that is called a burgers steak all right so here I've got my order Thank you so much Jolly bee, and we're gonna go for our next stop And then we're gonna go and eat everything and this is my second stop Which is 7-eleven because I know so many of you guys like to see what 7-eleven is like in different countries So I just got here, and this is the foods that they do they've got chicken nuggets fried chicken And they also do some fried bread. It's all gone So this is the only thing they've got which is the ham and cheese fried fried, so I might actually take this in the chocolate I might get the tiny ones oh I'm gonna give the tiny one of the paper.

There's the same flavor dude this one is the swamp graceful All that cookies in cream looks delish This place in here I was walking back to my hotel room, and he found another 7-eleven, so let's go and check this one But mine will go for the fried chicken soup already got a lot of our chicken from the other place I definitely want to try the chicken nuggets and the burgers if that's a burger and they've even go more here So these are like different flavors of sausages Wow that looks really good I'm back in my hotel room and even though this is like a Breakfast last lunch and a meal I got a lot of stuff Do not judge me when I go to places and there's something that I've never tried. I always go a little bit extra Honestly, this is some of the best smelling fast food that I've ever smelled you know sometimes fast We just go that chemically like smell to it, but I love not judging but sometimes It's got that very artificial smell this smells like actual food So I'm very excited to try it as you can see I've already tasted the spaghetti because he looked so good when we arrived that I just had to Mmm This spaghetti is so incredibly delicious. It's a little bit cold now, but still good. It's got some pieces of sausage on top Hmm We've only tried one thing and I'm already Considering moving to the Philippines that spaghetti tastes like a fancy Italian restaurant spaghetti I'm gonna use the same fork for everything do not judge me I make really bad life choices So if you're gonna judge me you're gonna have a very hard time from my channel the jollibee guy said that the most popular dish Is the steak burger so it's is it a steak is it a burger? We're gonna find out you're gonna eat it with a little bit of rice.

I think the burger or steak comes in like this gravy mushroom sauce Oh my god The actual steak tastes very very good But the star of this is the sauce this grape this sauce is so good that I'm honestly Considering going back and asking for a glass of it so I can drink it mmm, and their rice is pretty good as well it's like a sticky rice see almost it's almost like a sushi rice, but not really slightly longer I. Was not expecting this, but I prefer this over the past and any day, this is honestly very very good I can see why this is the most popular one so here You've got the jollibee fried chicken and also some more rice with a little bit of gravy on top But I'm gonna skip the rice because I already tried it Live spicy bomb hmm KFC better be sure because they're coming for their brand I do love the chicken it is very very spicy I ordered the spice you want because I mean I am in the Philippines might as well go for spicy food if I'm gonna do It anywhere before we get into my favorite. Which is probably gonna be the hotdog I'm gonna try the cheeseburger on this burger looks very different from McDonald's It looks a little drier than the McDonald's burger and it's also going to creamy like white sauce It also came in this box with a little Pikachu because I am 12 years old on the inside Is this is this the same meat from the steak burger I feel like you might be I've been in so many places all around the world and the sauces on the Philippines fast-food are just the best 100% this white sauce is so like buttery it's like a very Improved version of mayo I would happily have this every day for the rest of my life time to try the hotdog I'm very happy about this hotdog because if he ordered will it be this fast with hot dogs in America They never come with cheese, and they actually added so much cheese in the Philippines on top of the hotdog And that's the way it should be Hmm I Don't want to sound like I'm repeating myself But this also is is once again the best part the sausage is very very good as well It's a very soft sausage it tastes different than most sausages But I am easy to please but I can also guarantee to you that this would be delicious for anyone And The last thing to try before we move on to the 7-eleven foods is this chocolate mallow pie. I think that's what it's called It's chocolate and marshmallow inside like this outside.

That is kind of like the apple pie outside from McDonald's We're gone Just wow no trying to create drama But that does put the McDonald's apple pie to shame and I've probably got a lot of Chocolatey my teeth now and I'm so sorry I'm gonna try the 7-eleven fridge This is a fried bread like how incredible is that it's gonna be so greasy And if I don't like it you guys can get upset It's actually not greasy at all It's actually very very dryer Notary if you guys can see but it's got so much cheese in ham in the center. It's Absolutely delicious. I'm not gonna lie. I am so full already so this is gonna be enough food for like the whole day But I'm gonna try these chicken nuggets now It's probably because I'm so used to the McDonald's chicken nuggets, but these are definitely not my favorite I would prefer the McDonald's ones any day, but they're not terrible It's just a different consistency like the chicken is very tough, so when you bite into it.

It's more solid than I was expecting And the last savory 7-eleven food We've got to try is the CEO power volleyballer And I think it's supposed to be chicken and egg on the inside of like this like a dumpling outside It's really good, but I definitely got the wrong one. This is pork and not chicken I don't think but I do really like it I. Mean you can't really see on camera, but there's something white in the center I'm not sure if it's chicken or if it's an egg, but it tastes really really good I really really enjoy that and now for the sweet things. I think I've tried this one in America I'm just gonna confirm.

If it's the same one just for science I Think the one I tried in America was like in giant donut And he was all like donut like dough so he say But this one is filled with custard on the inside so this one's a lot better than the one I tried in America I love both obviously not trying to create any drama, but this one is a lot better so here I've got the cookies and cream donut The dough is very good, it's very very light, but the flavor is just just not very chocolaty and not very creamy I. Mean I'm just gonna eat it But I was expecting it to taste like an Oreo flavor Donut and the last thing I want to try is what are these tiny little dough balls I think the lady said this was chocolate, so I'm not sure what the outside is Not sure what that is on the outside, so I go like a candy Brad make sure I. Do really like it though. I always keep you real, and I gotta say Then jollibee is a lot better than 7-eleven foods Well obviously it's also probably more expensive, so that kind of makes sense I did very much enjoy both of them So thank you to all my Philippine viewers who recommended this and that was it for this video guys I really hope you guys enjoyed it if you did Please don't forget to give it a like and let me know if you guys like this type of venues where I try fast foods From different countries because I might actually do like a worldwide series obviously, it's gonna happen very slowly So it's not too much all at the same time, but I'm really thinking about traveling more often Maybe go to you guys's country and try your fast food so definitely let me know if you like it and Recommendations for fast foods that you can get in your country down in the comments section below Please don't forget to subscribe and switch my notifications on it means a lot to me So you just thank you to everyone who does it? I love you guys and I will see you on my next video.

Bye.
